I've heard a million times that you can't fix a bunion without surgery. While it is true that you can't fix the protrusion on the side of your foot, you can use this brace to straighten your big toe back out. It hurts, but what else would you expect from literally forcing your joint back into place? If you want better balance and want to keep your other toes from getting crushed it's worth it. I keep this thing on as long as I can before the pain becomes unbearable. Sometimes my foot will cramp, other times I get a shooting pain from the pressure the brace puts on the bunion. I can go at least an hour, but as long as six hours, and that has been enough to see a noticeable difference in the angle of my big toe, and my other toes aren't so crowded and crushed anymore. I also limp considerably less and, as a result of walking better, have less hip pain. It's a slow process and the more you wear it the faster it works, but when the pain gets too sharp it's best to take it off and try again the next day.

So far, so good. The braces are well-made, with a soft liner for the inside facing the foot. That said, the splints will be uncomfortable, depending on your degree of needed correction. I could never sleep in these; I wear them in the evening for a few hours before bed, then switch to a softer brace while sleeping.The liners that came along with my braces are way too small. I threw them away.My other beef is that the braces came with no instructions. How should they fit, exactly? What is the extra velcro strip for? How long should I try to wear them? How to adjust them for maximum benefit? I could not even find anything on the manufacturer’s website.

I'm talking about the larger one here; the one with the plastic insert on the side that's supposed to hold the big toe straight and prevent it from turning in.. There are no instructions, and there's a Velcro strap included separately that I have no idea how to use. Please add instructions! Also, the smaller one is much lighter and flimsier with no support, just a pad over the joint. They look almost the same in the picture, but they are not; one is a full brace, the other like a little sock/sleeve for the toe, much less materials and construction then the other. They don't say whether one is for day, the other for sleep, or what the heck. Would have given five stars if not for the confusion and lack of explanation.

This product is fantastic! No, it does not come with instructions because it says in the description all you need to know. Wear the sleeves and guards at night while you sleep. If needed, wear the sleeve during the day. Comfort - Very comfortable. Note: These are for Bunion correction, which means it will be pulling your toe, joint and bone BACK TO its original position as much as possible. No... this is not comfortable to feel at first but will get better. Healing takes TIME, and isn't always pleasant. The sleeve is supposed to be very SNUG! That is called COMPRESSION which is how you heal. This product is very nice and stylish, too! Copper infusion is the absolute BEST there is. Give it a chance! You'll be very happy you did! 😊

Instructions didn't come with this product. Using a brace the wrong way could do more harm then good. The next problem I have is that the compression sleeve for the foot is so small on the large/extra large that my toe doesn't fit in it and the product is so small that my foot can't fit into it. Overall not happy with it. This is right out of the box trying to get it on and so upset that I stopped just to write this review. I use a lot of copper fit products and love them. This one is just bad. It's so small that I can only get three fingers in and it's tight. I know it's for the foot just for a point of reference.

What I was looking for,

Although you should not wear these in shoes, some people do. These cushion the bunion, but put pressure on the bunions if you wear normal-width shoes.

Bout because I have gout in the joints of my big toes on both feet the gel cushions helped so much with wearing my work boots and shoes and the brases helped a lot I wear them at night
