My grandson loved this gift!

Great book for kids learning to read and interested in the deep sea! My little one loves everything past the midnight zone. This book fits her interests and is easy enough to read on her own giving her the confidence to want more. We love all the National Geographic books for kids! Highly recommended!

My son loves it

The book was ok, but somehow very dull and not engaging for my daughter.At the time she read it she was six and a half.I don’t think it was because the reading level was too easy - although it was. It simply did not interest my daughter, even though she’s interested in these kinds of sea beasts. Personally I found it a very dull read as well.

Book came in looking like it was chewed on by something. Received damaged.

These National Geographic books are GREAT for young readers. It offers good learning information with wonderful photography. There's enough information on each page to keep my grandson captivated without bogging him down with too, too much detail. Perfect for his 6 years when he is learning to read. My little guy is crazy for Anglerfish, snakes and anything that has lots of teeth----and looks a little creepy. He is thoroughly loving this book (and 4 others I bought with it).

My 7 yr old grandson is totally into animal life. He became very animated describing the pictures he was seeing. This was definitely a hit with him at Christmas.
