Advantage II Small Cat Vet-Recommended Flea Treatment & Prevention | Cats 5-9 lbs. | 4-Month Supply

I have a cat who had ear mites and after doing a good amount of research, couldn't find much that wouldn't end up making the cat uncomfortable. As well as avoiding putting anything directly into the ears. I took a chance with this stuff. It didn't say anything about ear mites, but this was the product that seemed like the most reasonable for the cat.It definitely made my cat a little uncomfortable, but for the most part she was really good and just stuck it out until the irritation seemed to go away. It was pretty easy to apply, and it didn't seem to bother her right away. Just after a minute or so of rubbing it in.In the end, it took care of the mites or whatever was making her ear itch and be all around miserable. I'd say it worked for a few months, either that or the cat got lucky. I would definitely recommend for anyone trying to find anything that will help with ear mites. It worked for mine, hopefully it'll work for you too!Also, other than just seeming a little uncomfortable, there was no visible reaction or negative side effects I could see. After about 2 days, she was good as new!

It works for thirty days. The description says that it's “fragrance-free”, but I have always found that there is a slight “chemically” smell to it. The smell goes away once it dries. You’re not supposed to touch the back of your cat’s neck until the Advantage medication is fully dry anyway so it’s really not a problem.I absolutely stand by this product. I have always gotten great results with Advantage. I swear by it. I highly recommend it to anyone who may be having a problem with fleas. Use it as a preventative measure or if you are fighting fleas. It works in both situations. I have my cats on it now and they have never been happier.

Works great on my cats. My cats spend a good bit of time outside and this product keeps them flea free. It works very quickly after applied. It is a bit pricey but it works great, so it is worth it.

I had been trying to get rid of these fleas out my house and off my cat and nothing has worked into I got this product and I haven't seen any after the second day of it been on my cat so I will stay with this product.

i tried frontline & it didn't work on my cats at all! tried advantage & i can literally SEE dead fleas dropping off my cats. this is the one!!

I could maybe give this four stars but I'm erring on the safe side. In order to address the flea situation I had to use three tubes in 4 weeks. I finally broke down and bought the prescription pill form ($$$) because I don't want to have to put this on my cat all the time. I live in the country and fleas are an issue here. I'm sure if your cat is in the house all the time this is perfect. It did eradicate the fleas, just not for long. I'm not sure that's the fault of the product.
