We received this chocolate mold as a gift from friends in...Florida (where else?). It was such a cute and personal gift, and the kids couldn't wait to make chocolate alligators to have as a special treat. We made them and they were quite easy and delicious!This type of plastic mold is very easy to use. It's hard enough to retain its shape completely, yet cooled chocolate just pops right out of it when you turn it upside down. It only took a very small amount of chocolate to make all 10 alligators (each gator is only a couple of inches long). They've proven to be a great snacking size!The only drawback is the tail. It's so tiny...it was hard to fill, and a couple of the tails broke when I removed them from the mold. Not a big deal for us since we were using them as snacks, but if you were using them professionally this could be frustrating.These are really cute and have a great gator shape. Very recognizable. If you're looking for a small alligator chocolate mold, this is it!

I searched for hours trying to find alligator/crocodile gummies for my son's Peter Pan birthday party to no avail. Finally I came up with the idea of trying my own hand at them and came across this mold and at the price point figured I had nothing to lose. The mold is a rigid plastic which concerned me as I was afraid of the candies not coming out but thankfully I didn't have any issues.I made chocolates and lime jello gummies with the mold. Spraying with cooking spray ensured that they would release easily. The molds set VERY quickly in the refrigerator which allowed me to keep production going. Definitely recommend!

Cute molds. However, you have to be careful when removing the chocolates, some of the feet broke and tales broke off.I did learn to leave them set up in a cool place versus the refrigerator. The candies became too cold and the feet and tales cracked off. Overall the candies were a hit. Worth the purchase.

I bought these molds to make gummy gators for my son's birthday. Though probably not as easy as using a silicone mold, so only lost one tail out of 40 gators removing them from the mold. These are sturdy plastic and worked out great for this project.

These alligator molds produce super cute chocolate alligators. I made chocolate covered Oreos on sticks and placed these alligators on them. I did some with green colored chocolate and some with purple. They were slightly larger then the Oreo so I put them off to one side of the oreo and then wrote my daughter's name, "Ally" on the other side vertically using a chocolate pen type thing I purchased at Michaels. I displayed them at her 1st birthday party and they were a hit.

It may work for hard candy, but for anything soft, the filling sticks to the mold and won't come out in one piece.

I had a bit of trouble getting the chocolate out of the mold intact, but that is probably due to my inexperience. I got better at it as I went along. Definitely would recommend.

Got these to make for my nephew. He loved them.
