This has been so helpful in our family. We use it about once a month. It a great way to connect to your kids and find out more about how they are. It can be use forever. Our kids are forever changing and this keeps the lines of communication open.

These have some thought-provoking topics to ask to get to know your child at a quiet time. It helps to give your child or teen a chance to share, to experience your parent's willingness to listen, or to gain emotional language. It especially helps to have parents share their experiences to model answers too. However, the questions were pretty general, and thought the cards were expensive.

Excellent questions to spark conversations. I learned more about the kiddos over a Mac n Cheese lunch using these cards than I had in hours of āqualityā time together. Highly recommend. Just wish they wouldnāt market them as trauma cards. All families can benefit from their use.
