I have never used packing cubes before, but a friend said they were super helpful. I ordered these and think I chose well: they are see through enough to tell what’s inside; the material and zippers are sturdy; I can use the extra set of zippers to compress the cubes more. I have used them for several trips and the biggest plus is that they keep my things organized, so instead of ending up with a jumble of clothes in my suitcase that has to be unpacked and repacked each day, and (as long as I put stuff back in the bags as I put them away) I am not rifling through the suitcase to find clothes, socks, belt, etc. This set had a good assortment of sizes. I always thought I was a good packer, but this set has upped my game. The price was great too. I thought the cubes would crush and wrinkle my clothes badly but that hasn’t been the case. I haven’t used the compressing feature much so far. We’ll see how they work out when packing lighter weight items for warmer weather. I have used them so far for winter travel. I recommend this set, especially if you can find them at reduced prices.

These things are a must have for packing! They save so much space! You can fit so much in them before you zip them up. They hold up really well!

Loved this for my luggage. Didn't use all of the cubes and was able to lend some to my boyfriend for his luggage as well. Kept my clothes organized, and helped keep my luggage easy to pack / unpack. The one thing that I didn't love is that one of the bags I packed with a bulky dress and the durability of the seams felt like they were struggling. I'd suggest lighter weight/thinner clothing. The dress I picked was a full length dress with sleeves and a slip, so it took up an entire small bag on its own.

These really helped me pack for a long vacation. Kept me organized on vacation too. The compression gave me extra room in the suitcase.

Great item I use it all the time for tight travel. Especially items like t shirts. You zip close then the outer zip push all the air out to create a semi vacuum seal. I like traveling light theee help and are a great value. A travel store would be three times the price.

You really can pack a lot in these.

I bought these with the intention of travel using only a carry-on. They do have a compression zipper that goes all the way around to help squish it into a smaller package. The thing I realized too late is that the pouch does not open very far, so when you are packing and unpacking, you have to stuff the items into a half-open pouch, and when you are at your destination, it isn't very convenient to try to live out of. I had imagined that the packing cube would open along 3/4 of the perimeter, making it possible to see all the items inside, but half of the items are stuffed in there and you can't see them. Look carefully at the video and pictures. I got the dark gray/red zipper ones, and you can see the red zipper only goes halfway around, and the gray zipper compresses all the way around. This may be what you are looking for- it does compress all the way around. But if you were hoping to be able to use them on the shelf in your cruise cabin or in a drawer, you may find it is frustrating not to be able to open the cube all the way so you can see the contents without removing them.

I borrowed a set of these compression sacks from a friend for an upcoming trip and I was so impressed I bought my own. I was able to fit everything into a carry-on suitcase for a week of cold weather hiking in Norway because of these compressions sacks. I won’t ever leave home without them!
