BELZAR AFM Disabler Compatible with Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V8 5.3L 2010-2018 Models and GM V6 V8 Engines in Various Vehicles, Trucks, and SUVs

Works as advertised on my pickup, stays in V8 mode full time. I can say that the truck is shifting out better and not lugging into overdrive so quickly when driving in the city. The gas mileage has dropped off a bit around town, a couple of MPG I’m not a heavy footed driver. Still well worth extending engine and possibly transmission life. I bought the truck new and have never been really happy with the drivability problems that these vehicles are known for. This plug and play unit makes a big difference in the way my truck performs and drives.

Came in the mail yesterday took it out plugged it in to my trucks obd2 port and turned the truck on and it started working instantl so installation is a breeze. I drove around all day yesterday and today the truck never went back to v4 mode it had a noticeable power increase wasn’t much but it was there and no issues with the truck shifting up or down. as far as the comments about gas mileage mine never changed but I don’t have a heavy foot either so that might play a big role in most folks comments about the fuel mileage. And it doesn’t drain the battery it stayed plugged in over night and no issues there. other than that the AFM Disabler worked great right out the box and didn’t hurt the wallet. Now I do believe in you get what you pay for so with that being said I do have plans on buying the 200$ range AFM disabler eventually but this works just fine for now till I can get the more expensive device.

Seems to work as good as the Range device. I’ve had that AFM Disabler also and this is way cheaper and just as good. No lights stay on when my 2017 Silverado is off. Turns off the auto start/stop feature also. That’s a total plus just like the Range device. I refuse to buy another $200 unit that can be mistaken as a parking brake like what happened to my Range.Update: Doesn’t seem to drain the battery.I’ve left my truck parked for several days and it starts right up with no problems.

Does exactly what it needs to. My AFM is off and running better than ever. Truck is smooth and consistent.

If anyone owning a Chevy Cruze wondering if it works. this works perfect to stop the auto stop with no problem used to have range technology blue more pricey and does the same.

More power to you. No more delay and annoying hwy sound of the v4 kick in . No change in gas mileage. If anything improved mph. Tows way better also .
