I love this bathtub temperature gauge! We had originally gotten a different ducky temperature monitor that only shows the word “hot” on the bottom if the water gets too hot. However, I had noticed that it was saying “hot” even when the water felt a little too cold and turning the duck upside down to get a read was super annoying. Then we ordered this product. It was so much easier to use! You just push the on button, stick in in the water, and it tells you the exact temperature of the water on the duck’s back, so you don’t have to do anything else! I could tell how close to the heat threshold the water was. It has led lights on it that glow blue when the water is too cold, green when it is just right, and red when it is too hot. I haven’t yet had to charge the duck and have used it twice now. It definitely has made bath time much easier on this first time mom.

Keeps a great charge and gives me piece knowing the temperature of my child’s bath.

I got this after my newborn had a difficult first bath due to it being too cold. He has not cried during a bath since. It is accurate and holds a long charge.

A special screwdriver should have been included to unscrew the Phillips head screw since I almost stripped the screw out trying to remove it to get to the battery case. Or, a flathead screw would have been easier to remove and replace.

We use this daily for our daughter’s bath. We were originally gifted one that did not have the exact temperature showcased. We ended up purchasing this because of the design of the product and temperature accuracy.

The animal thermometers are great for parents giving their little ones a bath. It gives you that extra peace of mind that the temperature isn't too hot for them. A red light will flash if the water is too hot. The problem with this one is that it takes too long to react to a temperature change. The water is too cold so you put on the hot but by the time the thermometer catches up now the water is too hot and you've got to cool it down a bit. We have a different baby bath thermometer that responds much quicker. The temperature reading seems accurate once it can catch up. Also the plastic on the front side where the numbers are displayed has already cracked a little just from my kids playing with it in the bath. They haven't been THAT rough with it. I can't imagine it will last terribly long.

Love this little guy for bath time with my newborn! Super easy to use, just plop it in and let it do it's job. One time our water was too hot and it started alarming, which is a great safety feature. I keep it in during the entire bath time and that also allows me to see when the water is starting to get too cold as well. We love hedgehogs in this house, so I am super happy we were able to find an affordable thermometer in this cute shape. I would definitely recommend!

Grandson taking baths as infant. We get a perfect safe temperature. Occasionally I have to wrestle the hedgehog away from the boy to re place it in the bath water. Cuz he likes it. Accurate, quick, alarms work well and every time. Recommend
