Does what's required, easy to read and easy to store

Bought these to use with two new freezers that did not come with temperature gauges installed. Have put one in each freezer and adjusted the freezer controls to set the temperature in the “green zone”. Don’t know how accurate the gauges are because I haven’t got a calibrated thermometer to compare them with. One freezer is in an outhouse that is cold in the winter and hot during the summer. I expect the thermometer will help me set the freezer control dial for optimum performance at different times of the year.

Both the Fridge Thermostat and Thermometer reading was the same. There was a slight difference with the Freezer Thermostat which read 18, whereas the thermometer read 16

We had a couple of occasions when milk had gone off in our fridge far quicker than it used to. I wasn't sure if the fridge wasn't cooling properly, someone was leaving the milk out, or if the supplier had a cooling chain issue. Out of the box the 2 thermometers read 2 different temperatures, about 3° different. This remains the same when placed inside the fridge. One says the fridge is spot on the other slightly too warm. So put them in 2 fridges at work where they both were just a little cooler.I've turned our fridge down a little, no idea what the actual temperature is but it must be reasonably OK now, and no more off milk.I'm guessing our fridge is beginning to lose a little efficiency, seals look OK, but it is about 15 years old now.

Bought when I started to doubt my appliance was working correctly.These same thermometers are also used in my place of work and appear to give accurate readings. I’ve now bought digital ones to link with my phone to have a live reading of my fridge. But there’s did their job in confirming my suspicion that my Samsung fridge freezer was not maintaining a food safe temperature.100% recommend these thermometers. 1000% do not recommend Samsung fridges

2 thermometers working fine in fridge and freezer. quite small but easily readable but can get lost in the items.
