The Best Product I've Found for Filling Small Imperfections Before Painting
I've used a lot of different fillers over the years, and Bondo Glazing and Spot Putty has become my go-to product for filling small imperfections before painting. It works exceptionally well on wood furniture projects, especially for filling pinholes, scratches, minor dents, and small surface defects. What I like most is that it spreads smoothly, dries quickly, and sands very easily. It creates a much smoother finish than wood filler for small repairs. In my experience, it does a better job than many wood fillers when you're planning to paint the piece because it leaves a cleaner, more seamless surface. I use it regularly on furniture refinishing projects to eliminate tiny flaws before priming and painting, and the final results always look professional. A little goes a long way, and it saves a lot of time during the finishing process. If you're painting furniture or woodworking projects and want a smooth, flawless finish, this product is hard to beat. Highly recommended.

Great little tube for quick fixes
Great little tube for quick fixes This Bondo glazing and spot putty has become a very handy item to keep around the garage. Itโs designed for small imperfectionsโthings like pinholes, scratches, minor dings, and hairline cracksโand thatโs exactly where it shines. I used it on a couple of small blemishes before repainting a car panel, and it spread smoothly, filled in the flaws, and was ready to sand surprisingly fast. Within half an hour I was sanding it down, and the surface blended seamlessly into the surrounding area. What I like is how versatile it isโyou can use it not just on metal, but also fiberglass, wood, and other materials. The consistency is easy to control, not too runny and not too thick. A little goes a long way, and the 4.5 oz tube should last quite a while for touch-ups. Things to keep in mind: this isnโt meant for large repairs or deep gougesโitโs really a finishing product. Youโll still need a proper filler for big dents. Also, once opened, the tube can dry out over time if youโre not careful about sealing it tightly. Bottom line: a fast-drying, easy-to-use spot putty thatโs great for quick, small repairs before painting. Perfect to have in your toolkit for automotive touch-ups or small household fixes.

Works well on shallow cracks & holes on wood. Easy to sand. Hard to paint over the red.
I'm using this on wood cabinets to fill some shallow cracks and nail holes. It workes really well, but there are a couple of things to be aware of... first, it sets up really quickly, so you have to work fast. It also has a pretty strong smell, so if you are using indoors, you'll want some ventilation. Finally, it's red, so be prepared to have to prime it a couple of times before paint, because like I said - it's red and hard to cover. No applicator provided, but an old gift card works great for applying. I was using a plastic putty knife, but you can't get all the putty off, so using something disposable to apply is a better option. Easy to sand, and because it sets up and dries so quickly, you don't have to wait overnight for it to dry.

Bondo is KING
I love Bondo. It's an amazing product. I've used to for patching holes in some of the most luxury real estate in all of Minnesota. This bottle is a great size for a large portion of products. Bondo is so easy to apply it's absurd. It's usually best paired with wood filler. You fill the hole first with wood filler, sand, paint your first layer, Bondo the holes again, sand, repeat. Bondo is incredible for easily layering your fill, making it impossible to notice any hole at all. Once you learn how to do this technique, you'll understand why I'm all about it. Bondo is usually easy to clean when wet, but the red powder is hard to get off surfaces without wiping it with water. That powder is ultra fine and will get everywhere. If you have never used Bondo, understand this product stinks to high heavens. If you are sensitive to chemicals and chemical odor, you'll probably want a respirator. You do not want to use this product anywhere you can't get open air.

Solid for light repairs.
Worked well for scratches and dents in fibreglass. STRONG odour though, very toxic, make sure to wear a mask or respirator because I got dizzy after just a few minutes of repair work. Does not repair or hold larger cracks at all so get JB weld for that.
