Stoneware

Fellow culinary enthusiasts, let me introduce you to the Le Creuset Stoneware Heritage Covered Rectangular Casserole in Cerise. It's the kitchen companion that not only delivers delicious results but also garners tons of compliments. Out of the box, its radiant Cerise hue is akin to spotting a vibrant sports car in a parking lot filled with sensible sedans. It's bold, eye-catching, and undeniably chic. Let's just say it adds an unexpected pop of personality to my kitchen. But let's dive into its true brilliance - its performance. I christened mine with a roasted butternut squash and caramelized onion lasagna, and it handled the task like a seasoned chef. The depth allowed for luscious layering, the stoneware promised uniform cooking (and delivered), and the lid—oh, the lid! It's like the cherry on top of an already perfect sundae. No more fussing with foil, just pop it on and let the magic happen. The true joy of this casserole lies not only in its functionality but also in the reactions it elicits. I brought the lasagna in the Le Creuset to a Christmas potluck last night, and the compliments flowed as freely as the wine—both for the flavor of the food and the exquisite dish it was presented in. Trust me, it's a moment worth savoring. In all seriousness, whether tackling casseroles, roasts, or desserts, this Le Creuset piece is equal parts versatile and delightful. Cleanup? A breeze. Durability? Impeccable. Culinary prowess? Undeniable. If you seek a kitchen companion that infuses your cooking with both joy and a touch of flair, consider this your heartfelt endorsement. I love it so much, I just ordered another one as a Christmas gift for my son.

Beautiful casserole dish! This was a gift for my daughter in law and she loves it!

I absolutely love this casserole dish! It cooks evenly and beautifully! It looks beautiful as a display in my dining room. It came very well packaged. It was easy to clean after I soaked it in soapy water for an hour.

Amazing

Happy to find this Casserole pan at such a great price given it is a Le Creuset. Color matched the Le Creusets I already had. Baked a carrerole or "hot dish" as we call it and it was perfect. Although I noticed the casserole pan was very messy with burned casserole along the top side of the casserole mainly due to the sauce and cheese which is typical in other pans as well. Thought I would have to wash it by hand but the dishwasher completely cleaned it up. I like the heat retention so it stays warm for a long time. Always very pleased with the Le Crust brand. If you use this size of pan on a regular basis, do not hesitate to purchase this as it can also be used to bake all sorts of items such as chicken, beef, and fish.

The Le Creuset rectangular grill pan is great grilling meat and vegetables. I had grilled turkey burgers with zucchini, bell peppers. It came out great and tasty. Beautiful grill marks on them too. Very easy to clean. I just soap it in dishwashing liquid and water for awhile and then scrub with the Le Creuset nylon brush. I would display the grill pan on my stovetop for decoration. The cerise color adds a pop to my kitchen. A keeper.

Some things you buy aren't particularly flashy or brimming with features…the Le Creuset casserole is one of them. It is just a really well made, well-thought out, handsome-looking bit of ceramic that does a great job at making gratins and casseroles. I have made several with it, and they have all come out great (and that is saying something because I'm a pretty lousy cook). The casserole is just one of those things that does what it does simply, but extremely well. Yes, it's pricey…but it's going to last a lifetime and do as well the after a hundred uses as it does for the first. I don't think it matter, but for what it's worth, I clean it by hand…it's really easy to clean…I suppose it would be okay in the dishwaher…but I think cleaning by hand would probably be better…longevity wise.

I bought this to make lasagna and it works fantastic. The lid fits greatly and it is the absolute best product to use. If you need a lid for a casserole size dish no more aluminum foil needed just like all baking pans made by this brand you get a high-quality product, heavy duty and actually heavy. I found it was packed extremely well there is no cracks damage or anything when I received it to the box or the actual product.

If you're thinking of getting this dish with the expectation you're getting quality Le Creuset you are sorely mistaken. It's not made in France with the quality of the item self evident. The lid doesn't fit no matter how you position it. It's wobbly and very unstable! You're better off with a cheap aluminum pan and some aluminum foil. Shame on Le Creuset for doing things like this. SHAME! Also the actual size of the bottom of the pan is 11x7 so your 9x13 recipes will overfill this cheap pan! I do not recommend this pan at all especially at this outrageous price!

Empeze a cocinar con mucha ilusion y al momento de empezar a calentarse en la estufa, hizo un ruido y todo el molde se estrello de lado a lado, lo tuve que regresar, deberian de tener mas cuidado en su control de calidad

Broke twice bring delivered.

I just received this a couple weeks ago and I have used this to make a few different dishes already. What a difference great stoneware makes for cooking in! I am so pleased! I have wanted to collect this bake ware for quite a few years and can just now justify buying some... WHY DID I WAIT??????? I have already recently acquired some of the cast iron pieces too and I can promise that it is my opinion that you will not regret a Le Creuset purchase.
