Stir Crack Whisk Bake: An Interactive Board Book about Baking for Toddlers and Kids (America's Test Kitchen Kids, Stocking Stuffer)

Great book that my son really enjoys. However, it seems like a real missed opportunity that the book does not contain an actual recipe for kids and parents to make together. This was a bit of a disappointment, particularly as this comes from America’s Test Kitchen. Very odd choice. There could definitely be a recipe on the last page. I hope they update this in future editions! This book could be a cute present with a set of mixing cups or a whisk and kids chef hat.

This is a great introduction to the steps needed to bake for little kids. Our daughter is very interested in cooking, and she likes to be able to interact with this book. The illustrations are cute, and the concepts are simple enough for a toddler or small child to grasp. As usual, well done America's Test Kitchen.

I love the other America’s Test Kitchen board books and so does my kid, so I snagged this book when I saw it. This book asks the child to pretend each of the steps of the baking process. My kid enjoys helping in the kitchen and pretending while reading so this book was familiar and entertaining and with each read the pretending gets better. At under 2, this is an ideal book for my kid.

This is one of the best board books for toddlers, especially if they like to help in the kitchen. My 2 year old LOVES this book and interacting with the pages. And recently when we were baking muffins, he ran to his bookshelf and came back with this book as though he were referring to a recipe. It’s perfect!

Both my 2 year old and my 5 year old love this book. 2 year old in particular is really in love with it. The colors and the baking process and the actions are great for them to follow along. I think they both have it memorized now.

This book is adorable- love it! Bought for my 3 year old son who loves to bake with mommy in the kitchen. It’s interactive, which he loves and keeps him interested. It’s great for helping young kids to learn about basic baking ingredients, kitchen tools and steps for following a recipe. We just got it yesterday and we’ve probably read it 5 or 6 times already!

The story is quite cute, and reads much like a digital interactive book - which I would think helps with pretend play. I believe the way it's presented would work better for an app, personally. But it's still entertaining. Our kiddo has looked at it once or twice for a few minutes, but considering it just arrived I wanted to get pictures first. I was pretty annoyed that this arrived as warped as it did, so I took away a star.

We actually bought it as a gift for a friend’s baby, and my daughter loved it so much I got her one too. She LOVES it. It helps familiarize toddlers with baking ingredients, but it’s also super interactive. It’s so fun for both of us. Trust me. Just get this book. It’s the cutest. Please make more like it!

J’ai acheté ce livre il y a un bon moment. C’était une youtubeuse qui l’avait présenté dans l’une de ses vidéos. J’étais à la recherche des idées des livres pour ma fille de 20 mois.J’ai regretté d’acheter ce livre car ma fille ne lit jamais pourtant c’est un très bon livre, les couleurs sont vives, les mots sont simples, c’est une très bonne idée d’introduire à l’enfant de faire la pâtisserie. Mais malheureusement, ma fille ne s’intéresse pas.J’avais fait une demande de remboursement, le gentil vendeur m’a remboursé la totalité du prix mais il m’a demandé de garder le livre. Du coup j’ai un livre gratuit. Je remercie le vendeur.
