how long will butter stay fresh in this crock?

I have had it stay fresh up to 3 weeks before it's empty. I change the water every 2 - 3 days. I use organic butter. Tried the regular brands and had them go bad. Buy the good stuff and you'll be amazed

I really do not know where this item is made. I bought it in red and believe the place it was made was listed with other information about the product. I am enjoying mine. It works great and I am thinking of buying some for presents.

How do you clean the bell and how frequently do you clean ut?

Is the whole product glazed, inside and out?

The lid of the Butter Bell crock (the rim) is unglazed due to the fact that it sits in the kiln to be fired on this side, thus no glazing.
