I’ve had the SALAV GS18-DJ garment steamer for over 3 years now, and it still works just as perfectly as the first day I used it. The 1.8L water tank gives me a full hour of continuous steaming, which is more than enough to get through multiple outfits or even a pile of laundry in one go. The steam is powerful and consistent, and I’ve never had issues with it losing strength over time. I also really appreciate the thoughtful design — the roll wheels make it easy to move around, and the adjustable pole makes storage simple. It heats up quickly, saves me time compared to ironing, and leaves clothes looking smooth and fresh. The build quality has impressed me the most. After years of regular use, it still feels reliable and durable, with no drop in performance. It’s definitely been one of my best appliance purchases, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, long-lasting steamer.

It does the job, have had it for about 3 months. I use it casually for 1-3 shirts and it works well. It could be more sturdy, thats my only complaint. Havent had any issues with it yet. It heats up quick. Eventually, it makes a pause to reheat some more water but it doesn’t take longer than 30 seconds.

This garment steamer is really good. It heats up quickly, steams well, good height, and the hanger is good. It is a bit awkward to move from "storage" to "use". The hanger would be even better if it had pant clothes pins/clips. The pole began to collapse (4yrs old but only used once a week or so). The company was very easy to work with and did replace the pole for free and added cleaning agent packages!

This steamer is great. I couldn't find a steamer like this after my old one broke, but finally found this on Amazon. It's easy to assemble, easy to use and similar to the steamers in retail stores. It heats up quickly, though be careful not to put your hand on the steaming part where the steam comes out because the steam is so hot. I prefer this type of steamer over the hand held ones because hand helds don't hold much water. This steamer holds a lot more water so you don't have to refill the water as frequently and can steam several items at once.

I am not happy with the steamer, there is always white chalky stuff where the water tank goes in, i always clean it but it comes back…and now it stopped working … the button to turn on the steamer is loose to…I purchased it in December of 2025 in less than 4 months it stopped working.. The functionality was fine. When it was in working condition but the chalky stuff is also around the button that turns on the steamer , the steaming pipe also has it around the nozzle that fits to the machine..

I am in love with this steamer! It’s my first time buying one because I lam tired of using my old conventional one ,and I’m so glad I was able to put this in my cart. I am really satisfied on this works.. It’s so easy and ready in a few seconds, and the steam is very strong! The size is perfect for apartments, and even for big houses actually. It was so friendly user and setting it up is so quick and I am surprised I could steam so many shirts in one full tank! No water sputtering too, though I recommend using a steam glove with it. I love the wheels, I think every steamer shoud have one so it’s easy to move it around. Very good quality steamer I do recommend this item..

I've had this steamer for 4 years and on average use it about once a week. It has performed very well. I've cleaned and descaled it often. I have not left water sitting in it when not in use. This week, it suddenly stopped working. I cleaned it and descaled it, but no luck getting it to work. As a last resort, I removed the bottom screws to inspect. I was disheartened to discover this *see pic*. I am assuming there was an internal leak somewhere that I didn't realize. Overall, it's a good product but it didn't last as long as I would have hoped for the price.

Works like a charm! I purchased this specifically for my 10x15 Foot Photography backdrop!. Set up was so easy - The machine is fairly lightweight and comes with wheels for easy repositioning, the extension arm for the steamer head is handy for those hard to reach spots and the steady steam output was great. I was faced with a long daunting task of steaming this huge backdrop and this cut my time down - most likely 75% - If it was not re-usable, I would purchase again!

Bastante eficaz en la ropa quita arrugas y es muy práctico mientras sean los tejidos delgados es más rápido y si son gruesos son varias pasadas no hace ruido en absoluto estoy encantada

Llevo 2 años usandola cotidianamente y funciona perfecto, un control para modificar nivel de vapor seria ideal pero no hay objeción.

I find this product comfortable and useful, specially because you can graduate the size depending on your needs and the person who is using it. The steamer gets heated and ready to use almost inmediately which is quite convenient.

So, this is my first time to make a product review coz i feel this product deserves a good one. First, I would like to start off with the Pros: Good performance, Very strong and hot steam, wide steam head, no water drips, telescopic stand, sturdy, foldable built-in hanger, good water reservoir with a drainer ( unlike my old one which i have to remove the pole and turn upside down to remove the scales or calcium deposits). Cons: The wheeis doesn’t turn well and the handle on the water container is not well designed which can make it slide from your hand when wet or when rushing. It would be nice to have a handle like in a pail. The hanger can sometimes detach from the stand when rushing to remove clothes. (doesn’t happen always, only when rushing. Price wise, it’s worth it. I just hope the manufacturer will do some improvement on the wheels, secure the hanger with lock, change the handle design and lengthen the power cord. Overall im very happy with this purchase and im buying it again. Would i recommend it? YES, indeed.
