Powerful saw, but not perfect.
This is a decent bit of kit for the price.Pros:Powerful at 1800w.Heavy and robust.Inexpensive.Easy to use with ergonomic grips.Good blade supplied.0 - 45 degree adjustable.Depth stop adjustable.Cons:Base plate wobbles a touch.0 - 45 degree guide is inaccurate.Suoplied saw would not hit 0 degree, so guide needed filing to suit.Line follow guide is not in line with blade.Verdict:Really powerful saw with a decent enough blade, meaning that it rips through sleepers at full depth with ease. It also had a good amount of adjustability to allow different depths and angles to be cut. However it's let down a bit by the base which is a bit wobbly and inaccurate. The solution to this is to set the blade angle using an engineers square, and ignore the guide marks!

Circular Saw
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I got it to complete a small home repair project and this circular saw works really well. Simple to use, cuts are clean. I tried to do the same cut with hand saw and it is very hard to get a straight angle cut. With this saw it was not a problem whatsoever. Just used square and couple of clamps and the cut is perfect.

Value for money
I spent a lot of time searching for a circular saw. I wanted something that had good reviews for as little money as possible (don't we all :) as I am only likely to use this once or twice a year (if that).I saw a few in this price range and there was very little to choose from between them, so I went with this one that had slightly better reviews overall.Like some of the reviews, I also found this a bit heavy, but I have nothing to judge against as I have never used one before. However the weight means that you don't need to apply as much force when cutting so I am fine with it.The instructions to set it up could be a lot better. I put the blade on flush to the unit but it actually needs to sit between the two magnetised 'washers'. Luckily I spun the blade manually to check it before I plugged it in as I was sceptical. Also, for people new to this tool, like me, the blade needs to spin counter clockwise.I bought this to make a wooden frame for a mesh soil screen/sieve, and to make a child's sand pit out of old create/pallette. Overall I am quite pleased with the tool and think it is pretty good value for money.

Tacklife circular saw
Works ok. A bit of vibration due to difficulty in positioning the blade correctly, otherwise no problems. It would be handy to know where I can get a dust bag that fits.

Worked better than I expected
Needed to remove a 17mm wide strip from a 70 mm thick hardwood gate, the cut needed to be clean and accurate in order to maintain the appearance of the gate. The saw was easy to control and cut a perfectly straight line with no splintering ( I did use a straight board clamped to the gate for accuracy.

Disapointed as there was no tools included and the instructions are very poor. I returned this item.

Cutting edge.
Good machine, but no spanner to put on or take off blades.
