The bright illuminating feature of the Casio Men's Illuminator Sport Watch make it a great accessory for nighttime runs and other sports. Constructed with a stainless steel case, the timepiece includes a stationary brown resin bezel and a comfortable brown nylon wristband with an adjustable buckle clasp for the perfect fit. A durable mineral window shields the brown and digital-gray dial face, which displays the time, along with the day and date. A mode subdial rests at the 11 o'clock position, while easy-to-use mode and 12/24-hour buttons along the bezel make this watch great intuitive for athletes, and a prominent light button rests at the six o'clock position. Powered by quartz movement, this watch is water resistant to 165 feet. CasioWith the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.

Excellent Wrist Watch
I bought this watch to replace an older Casio model and it has certainly met all of my expectations. It's great for swimming at the lake and seems to be very rugged. I am very pleased with the looks and the delay on the backlight was a pleasant surprise. I just needed a watch that tells time and this was a perfect choice.

Great watch for abusive conditions
At this price it is a great watch that I don’t worry about when doing construction or work on equipment. When I’m on the boat I don’t worry about it getting wet. This is the third one I’ve had. They usually last five to six years, by then the crystal is scratched or the band is worn out. A new watch is just a couple of dollars more than a replacement band. Not the watch I wear when going out, but great for time in the outdoors, all the basics, easy to read, and easy to find “light” button at night.

Can't beat a nice looking sports watch like this for the price
Product shipped fast, got it up and running pretty quickly. Seems pretty durable, and it looks kind of fashionable too. I think it would look good with a pair of khaki pants.Would have given the watch a 5/5 if you could change settings while the light was on. While configuring the watch's settings, to move to the next option, you have to press the light button. But while the light is still active (which stays on for about 3 seconds) you have to wait for the light to dim again to change any options. So, for example, if you are trying to set an alarm, you have to hit the light button to move the selection over to the "hour" part of the clock. It turns on the background light for 3 seconds, and while the light is on, you CAN'T change the hour. I don't believe you can move to the next option until the light is off as well. It's a bit of a pain, but I can deal with it. Especially for the price. But a little more planning there would have been nice!Other than that, the watch is great. Fits around my wrist just fine, and I'm a pretty skinny guy. I am 5'8" and weigh 135 lbs. I can easily put my fingers around my wrist, with a little room to spare, and this watch fits nice. (Although the last hole on the watch's wrist latch is not reachable by the latch itself. It is impossible to set the watch's diameter to the last, smallest hole option, but nobody will ever know that but you).So if you are looking for a decent watch that is semi-fashionable that is not perfectly streamlined to change settings for, and may or may not fit your twig wrist, for a great price you can't beat it. GOOD LUCK!

Amazing price value
Classy and casual with a retro look. It has am/pm, calendar, stopwatch, and light up feature. I love the aesthetic of this watch and wear it as my daily watch.

Spring bar pin holes keep wearing out in the plastic case.
I have had two of these and both watches lasted less then a year. The watch ban spring bar holes in the plastic case wore out. When this happens the watch is no longer usable, you can re-install the spring bars but they will just fall out again. Other than that it is a nice watch for the price.

The best inexpensive watch I've ever owned
So I bought one of these Casio watches around 15 years ago at a Walgreens or similar store. I can't even remember it was so long ago. I think I changed the band once or twice and changed the battery once when the display got dim. Eventually, I just took to keeping the watch without a band in my pocket. It just never gave up and was a familiar comfort. So I was pretty bummed when I realized I had lost it after all those years. The next best thing to finding my lost watch was realizing that Casio still makes the same piece so here's to another 15 years and one of the best small investments I've ever made. I'm curious about how many of these little buggers they must have sold so far. It's a great little watch even if i do have to adjust it twice a year for daylight savings.
