This simple and sleek door knob gets the job done
I was looking for something cheap that could be used to replace my bedroom door knob and that I could install myself. This one actually looks very nice and feels like a quality door knob (better than the one I had before). And for those saying they're receiving old parts with old paint on them.... I can't believe that they didn't realize it's a COVERING to protect the parts from getting scratched or stained while in the packaging!! Look at my pictures. It literally peels right off to show a BEAUTIFUL shiny piece to match the rest of the parts. Please don't hesitate to buy this knob because some people have no idea how things work.Anyway Installation was a bit confusing at first because the instructions I received were pertaining to parts that didn't come with this particular knob set. But I ended up figuring it out. It's actually very simple and if you've ever assembled anything before, it's like a puzzle, just put the pieces together as they seem like they would (it makes sense once you see the parts... trust me). The screws you need to attach the back and front handles together are ALREADY SCREWED into the outside facing handle piece (with the key insert) so make sure to unscrew them and screw them back in through the inside facing piece. Hopefully that makes sense. Other than that, so far so good - it did exactly what I needed it to do.

Internal parts grenaded. Lol junk cast parts couldn't handle regular use.

Solid Quality!
I'm replacing some closet doors with these to lock them to keep little hands from exploring where they shouldn't and so far these have held up great. They were much heavier than the non-locking knobs that I removed and come with several keys. Overall, they have met my expectations of keeping the door locked!

Used this handle on door and it needs replaced. door handles should last much longer than 1 year
