The product is well made; in my particular case I had to do a bit of grinding to get the fairing mounting bolt to line up on both sides. Mostly ground down the bottom portion to make it thinner that rests on the brace itself, otherwise it was too high. I used some clamps to hold the repair bracket in place while drilling, after tightening all the bolts it was very sturdy.

Much easier than changing the whole bracket, remove speaker for direct path with drill, sturdier than original!

Installed on 05 Harley Electra Glide Classic. Fairing bracket broke on top end like most eventually do. Sure glad I didn't have to install full bracket. This was a quick, easy and reasonable way to get the fix done and back out on road. I would recommend this to anyone with a fairing bracket problem.

These brackets are a life saver! Leaving on a cross country trip in three months and found the original brackets were broken....(again). I figured I'd have to take the old brackets out and replace with new ones. I searched a little more and found this repair kit. Ordered them immediately and was here in 2 days. Took about 20 minutes to install one side and a little longer for the other because it wasn't completely broken but was starting to crack so I replaced that. Had to cut where the bracket connects to the inner fairing so it'd fit. Saved a lot of time and seem to be pretty heavy duty.

Fits, thicker than the original bracket, so hopefully it will last, only one side on my bike was broken, but I welded the broken bracket and installed these as preventive maintenance, the only way that they fit is upside down from how you would expect oh, but they work great

2009 FLHX streetglide. Took me a second to figure out how to exactly mount it (in front of the bracket vs behind the bracket). Once I did, used vice grips, and a magnet to grab the shavings. Bout 45 mins of work. It helps a lot if you pull out the speakers, room for the screwdriver, and grab a box end 3/8" wrench.

Front fairing was vibrating around pretty bad at idle, did some research on it and it turns out the bracket is a common issue. Without even taking the front fairing off I ordered these based on the recommendations, glad I did! Easy fix and that was exactly the issue, both were broken. Took me about 45 minutes, which included about 15 minutes of me trying to find the lower two bolts before giving in to Google. (Turn the wheel to gain easier access and find them by the way.) Great product, highly recommend if you need to fix your bracket. I guess there are two, this fixes the upper one.
