This works great
I have no real experience with this type of thing but I used it on a project and it works perfectly. My project has a 12V power supply and motor. The display is clear with no flicker. I'm not using it in it's case but the case fit the electronics snuggly. Wiring it up was relatively easy, obviously be very sure of your polarity when wiring up the power in as refreshing it will certainly kill them unit.

Very nice hobby quality speed controller.
I like the appearance of the unit &the large readout display. The power button switch is sort of flimsy but adequate. The display shows percent of power from 0 to 100. The reheostat is a better quality with a smooth feel.

Working great for adjusting speed of motor. Only downside is, it turns on if power is turned off and back on.

Digital display was a nice surprise. Will use to control speed of a tiny gear motor that raises and lowers the hinged windshield on an old coupe (1937). The original pot metal gear box that was used to accomplish the task broke into several pieces, so I had to fabricate another out of aluminum, using the gear motor, instead of the original hand crank on the dash.

Came scratched and not functioning
Decided it wasn't worth the value, plus my screen came scratched and not working correctly.

ANNEALING SPEED CONTROL RUN & STOP
I made a home made annealing machine using this as speed control and as run and stop control.Speed control works good, But run and stop button will not work most of the times I push it.To Run=Must push in let go, it stops, push in let go, it stops, again, again, from the first day on.To Stop= Must push in let go, it keeps running, push in let go, it keeps running, again, again,I have tried holding the button in for a few seconds, some times it works and some time not, Some time I have to unplug it from the outlet wall power, this is a lot of extra trouble, I do not like this power control unit.I would not buy again. I do not recommend anyone else to buy.Until you send me a good replacement one.Then I will give it a good review.

Avoid. Damaged (Dog chewed) 'then' sent to me.
Absolutely disgusted.....this item was clearly damaged, returned, then sent out again.The chewed up broken pieces were included.Treating customers like fools....!Buyer beware.
