Visions 5L Round Dutch Oven With Glass Lid/Cover

Love this pot. You have to now how to cook in it . Thought it would be like the old ones but not. Still a good cooking pot. Easy to clean.

This was purchased for a very specific purpose to cook with glass. It has served its purpose and then some. Cook directly on gas flames without the fear of breaking.

This pot is great. We’ve had it about 10 days or so and have used it on our gas cooktop to cook pasta, tomato sauce, and fresh corn on the cob. I’m careful with the heat level, always starting with a low flame and then keeping the flame around a medium setting. Also run it through the dishwasher. We haven’t used it in the oven yet, but will eventually.The pot + lid I received were well packaged and had no dings or cracks. We’ve used the pot only maybe 5 times so far but I’m hopeful it will prove to be durable. We love it and are very happy to have an alternative to metal cookware, especially for acidic foods like tomato sauce.The sender was nice too. I’d buy it again from the MVTrading people.

I love cooking with Corning glass! Glass pots (Visions) and glass dishes (pyrex) and pyroceram (CorningWare), developed by Corning Glass, are healthier than old tin pots and so forth. I highly recommend them, and this is a beautiful pot and I use it everyday. I have used Vision pots since the 1970s.

I was eagerly looking forward to the 5L Dutch oven from Vision, and it finally arrived. However, when I opened the box, I noticed that the edge of the glass was chipped on one side. The outer box was intact, so it appears the item was sent defective, as I could not find any pieces of glass inside. Additionally, the item's packaging was old and used. I am very disappointed and will be returning this item.

I bought this Dutch oven since it was similar to our old one that broke. The quality is as good as our old one that i did not notice the difference.

This is our third one. They ARE durable, but still can break if You are as careless as we are.My Wife loves cooking in these. I tried to surprise Her with a Cast Iron Wolfgang Puck versionbut it was so heavy She couldn't lift and pour from it.I was glad the Cast Iron enameled pot got a chip so I could toss it and get this Visions 5L pot.This one is more of an Apple Juice color instead of an Amber or Cranberry color.My Wife loves this so much that the price doesn't matter.
