I was not sure after reading the reviews because many seem to find these very small. It turns out that most of the other canister out there were way too big for my needs, and I didn't want something that would take all my counter space so I gave these a chance and I am really happy I did. For me they are perfect! I would not say they are small, definitely not tiny as many others say, they are just fine. Unless you are a baker or something they should work for your everyday needs, I know they work fine for my everyday use sugar and the espresso ground coffee for a twice a day "colada" of cuban coffee. Actually one of my favorite things about this set is their size, they don't take too much space and look lovely in my counter. They are also very pretty and go perfect with my kitchen (brown cabinets, light brown/orange/yellowish stone backsplash and bronze hardware). I am using the one that says "tea" for the coffee cause it is a little bit bigger and I can fit a whole 10 oz pack of ground coffee there (I have to push the coffee down a little bit but it definitely fits), and then I use the "coffee" one which is the smallest, for tea bags, it has room for quite a few of those. I guess everything depends on your needs. The sizes in the description are accurate, so just make sure you pay attention to them and make your decision based on what you need.

After reading many negative reviews about the size. I love the compact size! I have a small kitchen and they nestle perfectly next to my stove.The color is true to a beautiful cranberry which is one of my favorite colors. The small one holds about 150 sweetener packets and the large one holds 1/2 to 5/8 of a 5 pound bag of sugar...Just right...the labels are stamped on a copper sheeting and are beautiful. I just wish I could switch the as sugar and coffee labels. the lids have a rubber gasket to keep the contents fresh. I am so happy with these. Received promptly and packaged extremely well.

We recently painted our kitchen and added a beautiful backsplash, we thought these canisters wood go perfectly withThe other accessories we had purchased, but boy were we wrong!!!! Don't get me wrong the canisters are very attractiveAnd go well with the decor, but we assumed they would be standard size canisters that you normally see on kitchenCounter tops but they were not. These canisters were so small, they look like little novelties on a shelf. I could almost holdThe three of them in one hand, how disappointing. PLease check the measurement before you purchase these make sure it's the size you want, because the picture is very misleading. Amazon gave me no problem on the return. Thank you.Mike..

I should have read the reviews...as when I received these canisters, they are too small. A large teabag would not fit in the mouth of the jar. The other canisters would have to be refilled too frequently and defeated the purpose of storing food in counter top canisters. I was disappointed also because the color is not as bright as it showed on display. The good factor is the craftsmanship is nice, but just not a fit for my needs.

Very nice quality, a little smaller than I anticipated but that's my fault, I should have looked at the measurements a bit closer. They look nice on my countertop.

This product is made in India. My experience is that anything made in India or if you do business with Indian sellers, it is questionable if they will refund the full money, like normal good Amazon sellers would. This product is okay but the quality is not worth the money. They should be selling this for $19.99. The lid is very light and I am hoping that the glue will hold and the screw does not rust. At this point it looks cute but the quality somehow makes me uncomfortable and I feel cheated. The reason I said, 'Buyer Beware' is because my experience with a very bad product that I bought (made in India), they did not even refund my money. I am still debating if I should return it.

I will say that despite having to send the item back after recving them today, I really like them. They are excatly what i wanted and after holding off for a year i finally purchased them. Upon opening the simply closed package, i noticed the outside said fragile but inside there is no bubble tape, no paper nothing to protect these cute little items. While I gently pulled out the first item, my hand and fingers brushed up what appeared to feel like pieces of large sand. When i pulled my hand out i sliced my finger open and noticed then the coffee canister was clearly broke ;( I am so sad, i could have gotten over a chip but a break that is wrapped around the entire canister isnt going to settle well with the price...I have submitted feedback and pictures. So as of Friday I am driving into town to send back, I hope the replacement order comes quickly but most of all safely! This is the first time in all the years being a faithfull customer of Amazon I have ever been truly upset!

While reviews are very important, we need to remember that our "review" cannot be specific to our taste or to what "our" use is. I have a set of these and LOVE THEM and they work great for what we use them for. The seal on our first set is perfect, they have banged a few times against the granite back-splash and did not break, they clean well and look very pretty. Had our first set for one year and bought the red set to use during fall and winter months.
