Rubber Hex Dumbbell

I got these weights during the pandemic when I was forced to workout at home. They are very sturdy and should last forever as they are solidly made. They had a strong smell when I first got them but that has dissipated. Even though I'm back at the gym its nice to have these at home when I can't leave the house

The metal handles can be cold in winter though.

Since we have out gym sessions on Zoom now, I have bought several weights. I liked this one so well that I bought a second one.

It has been tough for all the months gyms have been closed, completely closed by the governor of my state for alleged covid "safety" reasons. I was exercising but only had 5 lb. weights from a few years ago around the house. Until recently, you couldn't even find 10 lb. weights online or at stores, let alone at an affordable price. Finally I found these. Very well made, scored metal handle that's a comfortable diameter, hex-sided weights. I prefer to wear weight-lifting gloves with these because the metal scoring feels a bit rough after a while. But not a big deal. I am thrilled to have these weights.

Absolutely great value for money. Well made and can take being dropped. The material is almost like it has some give so when you put it down, it doesn't mark the floor. A PLUS!

After getting scammed on eBay, I looked to good old reliable Amazon & I pre ordered a pair of these dumbbells in mid June & received them in mid July at $30 dollars each, kinda sad & disappointing to see the prices have skyrocketed during these difficult COVID-19-20 times. First thing I did upon receiving these was to wipe them down with disinfecting wipes. They do have a bad stench to them, however, that smell has very slowly gone away. FYI, for people in California, these do come with a tag with that Prop 65 Cancer warning, I was mildly disappointed that this didn’t appear in the listing, seems like everything in the world is deserving of this CA Prop 65 warning though, I’m tired of being paranoid to these warning labels. Packaging was not very good, thin small box, however, product was great & without a single scratch & surprisingly the box was still in good shape, I guess it depends on your mail carrier.This is a very good product overall, money well spent.

Love that it's more narrow in the center and easier to hold than the others. I also use it with my ankle strap and it stays put securely. I'm not nervous about it getting loose or falling off as I do leg lifts, etc.

When i got my package it smelt like chemicals and it was super oily to the touch. I weighed it on a scale and it came up as 19.5 lbs so no complaint on the weight.
