The media could not be loaded. What I Love about the ProsourceFit High Density Half Foam Roller is that it's really useful, helpful and easy to use for stretching and stability exercises. I primarily use it for stretching my calves and achilles to help prevent a plantar fasciitis flair up and also for added stability and balance for squats. I can definitely feel the added core work I get by using the 1/2 roller. I use the 18" X 3" roller which has worked well for me. it stores easily under a piece of furniture and wipes clean with a damp cloth. I highly recommend this product as it can be implemented into any workout routine and can be used at all ability levels.

Great for exercising

I love this half roller for stretching my calves and achilles tendons before a run. In previous years I used to do that on the stairs, but this house has no stairs. The 18-inch roller (actually 17 3/4 inches) is perfect size for this, big enough for two feet in running shoes. I usually leave the roller by the kitchen sink so I can hold on there and look out the window while I stretch. It's very light, takes up little space, and is very sturdy--tolerates running shoes very well. I guess you could use it for working out cramped muscles and other things, but I got it as a solution to stretching calf muscles since I have no stairs. Terrific roller!

These look just like the ones that they have at my local YMCA. I’ve been using this for and heel raises and stretches both with and without shoes as part of my physical therapy. It’s pretty sturdy, but I can already see dents from my shoes and the ball of my foot and I’ve only had it about a month. (FYI, I’m a medium sized woman.)

I bought this to do Katy Bowman's calf stretch but have mainly wound up using it upside-down (flat side up) as a combo balance-training device and stepstool at the kitchen sink. Standing on it makes washing dishes, rinsing produce, etc. much easier as well as way more fun: It makes me 3" taller so I can finally reach comfortably--even on 1 leg, cleaning a knife!This roller is sturdy enough for me to balance on, curved side down, on a hardwood floor with no discernible compression or other damage, yet there's enough give that it's noticeably kinder to tired bare feet than standing directly on the floor. I also use it right side up for calf stretches as well as under my hips when I lie on my stomach on the floor to read (another Katy Bowman move, to reduce lower-back strain).I'm really happy I bought this and use it throughout the day.

Great functional foam roller for any PT exercises calling for one. Solid and good quality and just with the therapist called for. Great price for this necessary piece of exercise equipment that comes in various sizes to fit any body. Helps to alleviate back and shoulder pain when used in accordance with your physical therapist designed program.
