So to start, i bought a Beautyrest cotton down summer blanket about 15 years ago at Walmart, for $25.00! (It's the light Sage colored blanket in the one photo) That blanket has been my most favorite bedding purchase, it's cotton and SUPER SOFT, and lightweight cool enough for the summer and great for the winter with a fuzzy blanket on top... great for year round. After all these years and countless washes, it has lost about 50% of its feathers, so it's incredibly thin, almost like two sheets sewn together.So here I am, trying to replace my most cherished blanket.It's been very difficult. All the cotton down blankets I've found for under $100.00 have been 300 thread count, which is like paper. And all the other ones that are more around my price point are polyester, which seems so hot. So I bought the 300 thread count cotton down blanket on amazon, it was $89.00. I get it, the color is not at all what was pictured and when I touched it it sounded like I was touching tissue paper. I returned it the next day. I came back to this blanket, which was my 1st thought. I bought the pink one because it was only 31.00 on sale. The material is super soft, ALMOSSSSST as soft as my super worn blanket. The stripes are super pretty, the silk trim is so soft, and sewn perfectly ( I saw comments on how it was sewn poorly, not mine). So many negative reviews on quality but I love my new blanket so far. Not sure about the pilling after many washes, I haven't gotten there yet. This blanket is SO much thicker than my old blanket and also a lot warmer, maybe too hot for summer. I find myself kicking it off me while I'm sleeping, hence the polyester. But its so cozy, soft and pretty. And the pink is so pretty. Long story long, I say buy it, it's worth it.

I have been looking for something to cover queen been that looks like comforter, but is light weight & can be used as throw. This alternative throw/comforter is great!! The color i got SAND is very nice! The comforter is machine washable on delicate cycle / cold wash & rinse...tumble dry low heat! Finally something worth my money. It's a little expensive, but i gave up on the cheaper ones. I'm impressed! I give it 5 stars all the way around! I let it drape over stair rails a couple nights b4 I used it, but there is no smell to it either! I don't really have anything negative to say about it for the price! I'm goin to purchase one to throw over my new recliner too. I do have a Siamese cat that still has back claws, so I was/am a tiny worried on the snagging, but so far so good! Love the satin trim on it!! just right for a classy look!

This blanket is beautiful. I have it in a king white and I use it as a comforter. It's a good size, wish it was slightly bigger, but that's just me. It is the perfect weight, not too hot or cold. It washed up very nicely, but the satin edging was a bit wrinkled. Over all I love it. I will purchase another one when I catch it on sale again.

It's a great blanket, heavy when folded up but the weight is distributed nice when it's flat. You can't feel the beads rolling around like you can with my other weighted blanket, which is much more comfortable. I used it as an oversized comforter on a double bed so I'm not sure if the size is accurate, but there is lots of overhang.

I bought this for my mom for her new bed as she has made some changes recently after a tremendous personal loss in the fall. The pictures are true to colour, the blanket is not heavy and yet still cozy and is not noisy, whuch is very important to her.
