Great Price But Experiment To Get The Best Sound
Great Price but you get what you pay for i got this drum to sound pretty good however there is still a little buzz from the snares which can be taken care of with some moongel on the resonant head you just have to experiment with what sounds good to you because sound is subjective it is a great snare for the price -Luis of "Denying The Martyr"

Great starter drum
Great drum for the price! Clean appearance, and strong shell. Definitely need to change the head after purchase, as the stock is just that....stock. Much better sound with a new head. It does say shipped on time, but it was 2 days after ordering with expedited shipping before it shipped. Also, delayed with FedEx shipping, as it sat in the warehouse an extra day. Almost missed my deadline, even with paying for the extra shipping fees.

Griffin Snare Drum is a Big Hit
We purchased this snare drum for our 8-year-old grandson for Christmas. It came on time and seems to be everything it was advertised to be....great quality for the price. The look on that little guy's face was priceless and he has the hang of it already without any lessons. He's a natural. I would order from this company again. Very pleased!

save for something better. Okay guys
DONT BUY, save for something better.Okay guys, first of all it took like a month to arrive. Second the strap mechanism just doesnt work, i had to replace the mechanism and it still didnt work, I got so frustrated because it keeps making a buzz sound, and i bought an evans head. I'm just very disapointed. So much money spent drilling new holes, buy new pieces, wouldnt reccomend at all!!

Excellent Snare
Excellent snare for the newest member of the middle school percussion group! My son is 11 and was blown away by this cool snare! He especially loved the woodgrain appearance. He had a little difficulty tuning it so will bring it to his percussion teacher today to have it tuned. Otherwise, he has thoroughly enjoyed playing it at home and practicing all of the pieces they were newly assigned from school! I would recommend this for anyone and any age.
