Lasco11-1033 PTFE Pipe Sealant Tape, 1/2-Inch x 100-Inch, White

Just installed a new washer so far no leaks.

I just bought this roll of tape to install my amazing new shower head:  6 Function Adjustable Luxury Shower Head - High Pressure Boosting, Wall Mount, Bathroom Showerhead For Low Flow Showers - Chrome . (I thought I needed a roll of tape based on my experience with other shower heads. But the shower head already comes with a good roll of Teflon tape. Still I decided to use the Teflon tape I bought because I'm not returning a $5 item. :p ) I am happy to report that the shower head is still leak free. This is a high pressure shower head with multiple functions, so the taped connection is put to the test.The tape has a good width and is extremely durable. Some tape I have used in the past will fray at the slightest tug. Not this tape. It applies evenly in nice layers around the pipe thread to create an effective seal. You may need some scissors to get a clean cut in the tape.I highly recommend this tape for anyone who is installing new shower heads, new shower arms, pipes, or any plumbing job. It's a great product.

When I opened the tape, was a bit disappointed, seemed like someone used it then sent the remaining to me. But the tape works perfectly to make any joint leak proof. The amount should have been more.

i’ve been at an 8g for a while and the size up to a 6g was so big i was worried i would have a blowout. i cut off about an inch and a half of the tape then cut that strip in half long-ways and wrapped them around my plugs. they went in no problem and the tape stayed in place; it didn’t shift or bunch up when i put it through my ear. i have since added another strip to my plugs on top of the first one and everything has held in place perfectly. i definitely recommend this, especially for the price. you get a lot of tape in the roll (when it comes to how much you would need for plugs at least), so you dont have to waste money and time trying to find a half size that you will use once.

First off, this product came shockingly fast. I ordered it on Saturday evening, and it showed up at my door the following day at around noon (expected delivery date was Monday). So far, it seems to be pretty standard for Teflon/PFTE tape; it's thin, non-adhesive, and somewhat stretchy. I'm using it to stretch my ears, and the width of the tape is just a tad bit longer than the plugs I'm wrapping them around, which isn't a big deal to me. The tape is also pretty soft, which I'm thinking is a plus. Overall pretty happy with it so far, considering how inexpensive it is. It's a good alternative to buying plugs or tapers between 8g and 6g sizes (where I'm at right now), but it is pretty delicate, so I'd say be gentle when wrapping your plugs with this.As for what it's usually used for (pipe sealing), I have no experience with that, but I'd imagine it would work pretty well.

Used this for a home pressure washer setup. Yes it's flimsy & difficult to manipulate...BUT once you get the hang of it, stuff works perfectly.
