I realized I hadn’t gotten new brushes in forever & needed some travel sized replacements. Surfing around on Amazon led to an abundance of options. I picked these because-they came in a travel roll-being double ended they pack smaller-jewel toned colors-good graded assortment of sizes-reviews affirmed they are soft.They are pretty soft. They are pretty. They work well enough. But the roll up is a fail. It has a central elastic band sized for each one, but there are 2 problems: double ended brushes can get damaged trying to slide thru the elastic, so it takes two hands & extra care to rehome them, so more time is spent preventing damage than actually using the brush. The handles are contoured so the elastic loop, while too small to slide a brush thru bristles first, is too large to keep the handle from sliding. Since the roll is open on the ends, the brushes fall out. Also the roll fabric is unnecessarily thick and stiff.In short, the brushes are good for a starter kit or traveling or heck, even crafting. They’re reasonably soft. I haven’t used them enough to know if they’re durable because I was not motivated to wear makeup in a pandemic. But the roll up storage is a no. Better would be a thinner trifold fabric that would cover each brush end a keep them from falling out when rolled up, but could unfold & stay open as a drop cloth when unrolled. (Either unsecured or secured with a thin, loose elastic with larger gaps just to keep them from bunching up when rolled - as clips or snaps instead of sewn elastic would put it wayyy over the price point).

I was looking for a nice set of make up brushes that I could take with me on a recent trip. When I got them, my first thought was that they were too small. The bristles are nice & soft and all of the brushes were sturdy & well made. The colors are fun, too. Since they didn't meet my needs, I decided to give them to my 13 year old daughter who had been wanting some make up brushes. She absolutely LOVES them! She uses them all the time now. I use make up brushes to apply my mineral foundation, blush, powder, and eye shadows. The larger brushes just weren't large enough for my needs. But just because they didn't work for me doesn't mean that they aren't good brushes.

A big reason I selected this set was the case to hold everything in place but the case is useless. The elastic loops that are supposed to hold the brushes are all too big and the brushes slide right out. And the loop at the end of the case isn’t elastic so it doesn’t wrap around the case securely to keep it from opening. I cut the loop though so I could tie it and that seems to work. I would have returned it but I didn’t use it within the 30 days so I didn’t know the case was crap. I’m giving it a 3 though because the brushes are the perfect size for traveling and the bristles are soft and don’t shed.

They aren’t just amazing colors, they are smaller than I thought. You may think that’s a badasss thing but it’s not! With a girl that has a lot of makeup it’s nice because it’ll fit in the bag with my makeup no problem! Super soft too. You know those one brushes you put on your face and you’re just like ah!? Well these aren’t those! If you aren’t good at knowing which brush is used for what, this product also includes a pamphlet that tells you with brush is used for what.

I just love this little brush set! Quality materials and a great foldable case. Use it at home or easily drop in your bag to take

First, I really like the patent leather look of the roll up case; so elegant looking with the minimal grey ties. Expensive looking, but not a wallet breaker.Next are the brushes with their vibrant colors so pretty , that it's a shame to use them. They reminded me of eye shadows. The bristles are very soft and feel great on the skin.Last, the dual sided durability of these brushes. They can fit into the smallest purse, and are so convenient for travelling. I plan to order my daughter a set.

I haven't actually used these brushes with makeup yet, but I've had them for about a week, and I love almost everything about them. The bristles are supersoft, I love the colors, each of the brushes are labeled with a number and the set comes with a key that tells you which brush is which. The only thing I don't like is that the case they came in seems to be not reuseable at all. Unless I'm missing something. The brushes, especially the thicker ones, can't fit back into the holders in the case. I'd ruin the brush trying to get it back in there. Also, it's not a case, it's a flimsy plastic wrap with a flimsy plastic cord that doesn't keep the brushes protected, as it's open on both ends. the brushes keep sliding out. i'm going to have to buy a separate case and use that instead. I really wish I'd gotten the 'double trouble' instead of the 'Luna' because the case looks sturdier. But I need these for a wedding I'm leaving for in 2 days, so I don't have time to return them.Update: I've been using these brushes for like 2-3 years now. Ignoring the case, they get a 5-star review. The only thing I'd say is that the purple brush (bigger end) doesn't pick up as much product as I'd hoped. However, I've washed these brushes several times and they've kept their color. No bristles have fallen out, no other strange malfunctions...I'm honestly shook at how much of a score this was. Even though the wrap is flimsy, the brushes are small enough that they easily fit in a little pencil bag or something. I've used and abused these brushes over the past couple years and even if they fall apart tomorrow, it would be well worth my money to just buy another set.

I think this is a very awesomeeee and great brush set because they are very cute and the perfect size they are also incredibly soft and colorful.I would totally recommend this for every woman who lovesss and adores makeup just like methe pros are that it the perfect size and its very soft and has cute shape and the cons are just that well basically you have to clean it but thats not tha bad.Thanks SHANY for this amazing set!!!
