Satisfied.
Was sceptical at first having read the reviews but went ahead and bought it anyways. Reached me in perfect condition, the flavour and strong shiitake mushroom scent was there too. No broken pieces, clean and was also well dried. Couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you.

Product seems to be good. However the import date is June 21. Hope it can be used through 2023.

Quality Product. Big and Clean without any crushed pieces
First i was hesitant to buy this product because there was no reviews. I took the risk and bought it. Now i can say that i have made the right decision. The product is of top class quality. No issues whatsoever. Will definitely buy again.

not good quality shiitake
Having tried out shiitake mushrooms from various sources these are easily at the bottom of the ranking -good quality ones are well dried out, retain their mushroom shape, do not smell musty, and have a firm light brown cap with white markings. these are shriveled, not fully dried out and dark brown all over. I will have to dry them out in the oven, and guess what, the 500 gm weight will probably become 400-450 grams :D

Quality as well as wuqnitity
Good quality, reasonably priced shitake mushrooms.

A bit bitter but unnoticeable when finely diced, adds good flavour
We slice it into juliennes for miso soup. However, one time when the slices were relatively thicker, we found a noticeable bitter taste to the mushrooms. Later when they were diced into smaller bites, the bitterness was not there. They add a really good flavour to soups, dumpling fillings etc. I do recommend cautiously.

Disappointed with quality
I was not looking for excellent quality here, but hoping for at least decent ones. However, this dried shiitake was way below my expectations. I don’t think it was properly dried. Shiitake was soft and easily folded without breaking it. Haven’t seen this level softnes before. Also most of them are very flat as it’s almost smashed at the bottom of huge bag. Never go for this product if you dont want to waste your money.
