FEL-PRO ES 72856 Engine Cylinder Head Bolt Set for Chevrolet K1500

Great product and already has sealer on bolts which is awesome. Could use a discrimination update to list as 2 kits are required for a complete engine repair

I recently had to replace the head gaskets on my 98 GMC K1500 5.7 vortec. On these newer engines the head bolts are not reusable, they are torque to yield (TTY). I chased the bolt holes with a tap after I removed the cylinder heads to clear out any old sealant. All of these bolts thread into the water jacket that surrounds the cylinders. These bolts threaded in perfectly and I had no problem with initial torque or the additional degree torqueing. You will need a degree gauge for these, you can order one from Amazon or pick one up at a auto parts store.

Great figment. Apply thread seal to the head though on the antifreeze bolts on the 1984 c4 corvette heads.

I wish the add would have stated these are for 1 head only.
