I absolutely love the Treluxe high definition gel. It works incredibly well with all the hot and humid days here in Michigan. This product keeps my hair, frizz free all day long. You don’t need to use a lot of product for it to work. It’s magic plus if you need more volume just use your hairdryer. I highly recommend.

I finally gave this hyped hair gel a try (yes, the one over $20… so my expectations were high 😅). For reference, I have fine, shoulder-length hair. First impressions: no strong scent, which I actually appreciated. It applied easily, and I did build up a decent amount in my hair. After diffusing, my curls looked really nice—well-defined, soft, and not crunchy at all. BUT… the hold just isn’t there for me. Even with a volume mousse underneath, my curls didn’t last the way I expected. It feels more like a light hold gel than something that can really lock things in. Honestly, for the price, I’m really disappointed. I expected much better performance, especially with all the hype around it. So if you’re going for soft, touchable curls—this might work for you. If you need real hold and longevity (especially with fine hair), this probably isn’t it. Final verdict: pretty results, but not enough staying power to justify the price. Update to 1 star (I'd give 0 if I could) At first, my curls looked soft and defined… and then a few hours later they completely gave up and died on me. No hold, no structure—just limp, sad strands and regret. I’ve had cheaper products from the drugstore fight harder than this. For that price, this is honestly insulting. Save your money and your dignity.

I was not as pleased with this as it was advertised to be. Every video advertisement I have seen on how to use this product and how long it clams to last (days), was not the expectations I had with my hair. Instead of adding more bounce to my curly hair it weighed it down. It made my hair very sticky to comb.
