Cooking Class Global Feast!: 44 Recipes That Celebrate the World’s Cultures

Very good cookbook for kids of all ages
I have a four year old and a six year old and both have enjoyed helping their dad cook dinner with recipes from this book. The step-by-step pictures help keep the kids engaged and excited to see if what we cook can look as good as the photo (it does!). Most of the meals assemble quickly and can be cooked together on a weeknight, not just on the weekend. The food has always been tasty, too. I definitely recommend it if you have kids who are interested in helping in the kitchen.

Gorgeous book & great variety of recipes
So I bought this to inspire my youngest to get in the Kitchen with me more, & also incorporate exploration of other cultures & countries. When it arrived, we opened it & looked through & immediately my son (9 yrs old) was stoked & began bookmarking the ones he wanted to try first. I love that this isn’t just a simple book of recipes thrown together, it’s a sensory experience; The illustrations are beautiful, & the layout is really attractive & makes you want to try them all. I appreciate the little tidbits about the countries & the young chefs themselves, pronunciation guides, etc- it’s clear lots of thought & intention was put into the book. We just received it yesterday so have not tried any of the recipes yet, but there is a great variety of types of foods- dinners, desserts, breakfasts, snacks, sides etc. Something to take into account- it is a bit heavy on the carbs- lots of breads,& cookies, cakes & such. All in all, very pleased with the purchase & would recommend.

Great Cookbook!
What a wonderful idea for a children’s international cookbook! Not only is the background information about each country’s recipe educational, the recipes are quick, easy and delicious. My grandchildren received one as a gift from their uncle. I liked it so much, I ordered one for myself!

Fun cookbook. No stickers.
Full color pictures of the recipes and instructions, plus tidbits of information throughout, made for a really engaging cookbook. My kids have enjoyed trying recipes from around the world. However, the description says "A pop-out food passport, world language flash cards, and flag stickers provide additional fun..." but only a book was included in my shipment. No passport, no flash cards, no stickers.

Highly recommend!
This is a delightful children’s cookbook! I love everything about it from the layout, the beautiful pictures, the interesting facts, to the highlighted children, to the recipes themselves. The recipes are simple enough to make but complicated enough to make them interesting. We’re planning on working through the recipes this summer and learning about all the different countries represented. My children have loved looking through all the recipes. So far we’ve made the Anzac biscuits and they were a huge hit. And in case you’re tempted to try and substitute the golden syrup in this recipe, don’t do it. It has a wonderful unique flavor that you don’t want to miss! They sell it on Amazon in case you can’t get it locally. I went ahead and bought the author’s two other cookbooks after getting this one and they are just as fun. Highly recommend.

Your children will love this cookbook!
My children love all of Deanna Cook's cookbooks and were so excited for this newest addition! The gorgeous photographs, cute illustrations and easy to follow instructions make my children instantly feel successful. At ages 8 and 10 years old they are able to create delicious meals on their own for family which gives them such pride. The chimichurri sauce was easy and delicious. Our family found a new favorite meal with the Moroccan dish, Shakshuka. I love that Global Feast exposes my children to different spices and ways of cooking. My daughter loves the cute country stickers in the back to display with the meals. Such a clever touch!

Amazing and fun book but a little bit damaged
Fantastic book but little bits of damage to it when it arrived. Was going to send this as a birthday gift but don't feel it's good enough, especially with the ripped page.
