While video recording pre Super Bowl 59 festivities I incorrectly attached the Switty S20 to my camera: It took a hard fall onto concrete sidewalk. I thought that was the end of it. Much to my surprise, pieces of plastic did no scatter in all directions. I turned the light on, and even more surprising was it worked! Not a single micro LED was dark, nor were there any cracks in the panel to distort the light. But it wasn't totally unscathed. The ring nut (I guess that's what it's called) that fastens the light to the camera hot shoe was knocked out of alignment. It was very hard to turn, and it did not fasten the light to the camera properly. I took a flat tip screwdriver jimmy the ring nut back into alignment with the bolt threads, and again — much to my surprise (and delight!) — it instantly went back into alignment with the bolt threads with a satisfying click. It's was as good as new, which it was, because I purchased it only a few months before.

Love this light for wedding reception photography! So fun!

Worth it. Nice features and nice lighting.

I was constructing a copy table for negatives, so I bought this unit. It is as advertised and bright but the lines of LEDS show up through the diffuser in my application. It is just a little small for the negative carrier I am using. I bought a 6" x 9" panel which is a perfect size and the lines of LEDS do not show through the diffuser. This will work well as a light source for general photography, but for copying spend another $10.00 and get a better unit.

Definitely helps if your in a uncontrolled environment

Pros:The light works as said. Great temperature settings. From cold to warm. Very bright, and has adjustable brightness that is easy to use. The cold shoe adapter fit well, seems pretty solid mounted on my rig. Nothing shakes, or comes loose.
