The Hiccupotamus (Hiccupotamus and Friends)

This was a cute book, silly and fun. Some what hard to read for the made up words though. Definitely one a parent needs to read, kids would have a hard time reading it on their own

We gave this to our friends child. It is their favorite book. They have the entire thing memorized, but still makes mom read it every night.Wonderful book.

This is a really colorful book perfect for grabbing a babys attention. Easy to read. Perfect book for babies of all ages. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book to my daughter. It was the cutest funniest little story and actually made me laugh so hard. And she was laughing because I was laughing.

This was a perfect night story. So relatable and funny. Kind loved it and it's one of the go to books for bad time

The story is cute, and I love the lesson of working together to solve a problem. The rhymes are contrived with non-sensical words, but my nearly 5 year old loves the story.

Lots of giggles during this book since it has funny made up words. Some pretty big tongue twisters make it a nice challenge for older kids to sound out, but silly for little listeners too

We got this book for our granddaughter's boo basket for Halloween. We were drawn to this book because of the title and the fact that when she laughs too hard, she gets the hiccups. She's 2 1/2 and she loved the book (although she was concerned for the elephant). Her parents loved the very end. I just loved my granddaughter sitting on my lap while I read her a cute book!

3 year old keeps reading this over and over because it makes her giggle!

A funny and cute take for younger children. Very nicely illustrated. I loved the cast bio at the end. Recommended.

I loved how fun and colourful the art was. The story was simple but punny. It made me laugh and was plain enjoyable to read. I found the cast bios at the end an enjoyable read I wasn't expecting as I haven't seen that before. All in all it was a great read 5 stars.

I got the kindle version, but I can't wait for the paperback

This is a super cute book. I originally took it out of our public library for my young daughter. She loved the bright colours, cute pictures and funny words, and I just loved how cute and catchy the rhyming verses were. It is a fun read, and although the words are often really silly, it is an adorable book that begs to be read over and over. As a plus, the drawings and colouring are just beautiful and vibrant. I think this is one of those board books that you wouldn't necessarily pick up or know about, but it is a definite addition to any toddler board book library, in my opinion (as a mom and a teacher!)

We really enjoyed the book. Keep in mind some of the words are just made up words so It rhymes. But overall, it's a very cute and silly book to read with your toddler.
