If you have lactose problem this is a fantastic way to enjoy lactose products. It works much better than the standard lactose pill. I can now eat cheese, ice cream and other favorites. I would check with your doctor before using if you have lactose problems. I know a few people who are using this product and re doing very well but health is individual matter.

So much cheaper than Lactaids and works just as good if not better! Will continue to buy until they go out of business!!!

The only reason why I gave it 4 stars as I just didn't realize that it came in individual packets rather than in a jar. Well it is good to be in an individual packet so that you can carry it with you wherever you go is certainly a plus but for me a jar is better because I'm utilizing it much more often since every medication I take just about has a filler of lactose in it just a FYI if you are lactose intolerant and on prescribe medications check with your pharmacist to see what the fillers are. I was having problems with my stomach and ask my doctor for a review of my medications and he sent a note to pharmacy asking what the fillers were in my medications. After Pharmacy check down they said just about every medication that is in pill form most likely would have lactose in it. I would also suggest any over-the-counter supplements that you may be getting to make sure that they are lactose free as well back to Dairy relief the reason why I like Dairy Relief by this company is that it does not contain sorbitol, mannitol or other fake sweeteners. As they also can cause gastric distress. Guardian company seems to have the purest Dairy lactose relief. And I tolerate this product much better than any of the others. So I will be using this company and this product continually and I highly recommend it if you have hi sensitivities to artificial sugars. Another nice feature of dairy Relief by this company is that it easily digestible I could even chew it if I wanted to it, its flavor list and powder like consistency so I'm sure some people would not appreciate that I'm just saying that's a possibility and only two relay to you that it is easily digestible in your gut. I have bought it over the counter in a jar as well. So the only reason why I got it for four stars just because it was an individual containers it's really my fault for not reading that it was but I was more concerned about the ingredients. So really overall I give 5 stars and I'm a regular customer now of this company and dairy relief as long as they do not put artificial sweeteners in it in the future, or change the composition some way. Regardless yes I can carry a few of the packets with me for emergencies but it's really not necessary for me to have packets I don't eat dairy. I read some reviews on a different product that contained artificial sugars in the person complained that the product didn't seem to be working as well anymore because that person continue to eat dairy but was also consuming a higher dose of their so-called Dairy relief product when it could have been partially because it had artificial sweetener in it. Either way eating dairy is not an option for me and I wouldn't even consider eating it even with a dairy relief since eating dairy may not necessarily be only about lactose, sstudy say that our bodies don't really break down dairy products anyway. Just saying :-)

Product works fast.

I used to buy a name brand where each pill was individually wrapped in a foil package. I just thought that was the way these things came... until I discovered these! Since they're bulk bottled + you buy bulk bottles, they can really pass the savings on to us! These work just as well as the other ones (in my opinion). And with six bottles, I can stash a bottle in several different locations: My bathroom, the kitchen, my wife's purse, our car, my office, and I still have a spare. Then, no matter where I'm at, I've always got them ready and waiting.

As I've gotten older my lactose intolerance is getting worse, year by year. I thankfully don't get sick, but I do get uncontrollable flatulence all day long and for several days after the initial onslaught. It is very embarrassing when I am around even family. I took one pill this morning before drinking a whey protein shake, had cheese on my sandwich for dinner, and pudding for dessert and I had ZERO gas, zero bloating, zero discomfort all day. One key to taking these pills is taking one or more BEFORE you eat. They won't work once you've eaten. It is also very important to use these before their expiration date. I used some of another brand, that had expired a few months ago and they did not work. Fresh pills are important. These pills are small and easy to swallow. 100% recommend.
