A very nice inexpensive way to deploy POE equipment with gigabit speeds. I’m using this device in a home network and it’s working great. Only downside is it doesn’t have a LAN port to give it more versatility.

Works perfectly to power my Ubiquiti Unifi AC Pro APs. It's small and light weight, with no frills. It just works.

I originally purchased this injector with the PoE Texas PS-48v60w power supply. This combination works well with my Netgear devices that function as 802.3at passive devices. It does *not* work with my Reolinks, which are 802.3af active devices. When I wanted to use this injector to power a Unbiquiti Nanoswitch with Mikrotiks connected, I purchased the PoE Texas PS-24v60w power supply. This combination did not work, and I contacted PoE Texas for advice. Maria got back to me quickly with a detailed response that got me on track. The Ubiquiti switch uses a different wiring scheme (Mode B) that is not supported by the GPOE-4A. She pointed to the GPOE-4B injector as the correct injector to use for that application. As far as I can tell, this is a good product with great support. I suspect that the negative reviews are from people like myself, who are unfamiliar with the different PoE standards and are using the wrong product.

I would like to say its good, but it doesn't come with a power supply.

I have this in my server room in the basement. It powers a switch, a wireless access point, and a clunky old laptop. It works awesome! Does not cause any delay in traffic. Powers up well with no overheating. 😎

Good low-cost option when you just need a couple of PoE ports. I was able to reuse a power brick from an older 8-port 10/100 Texas injector and that let me save a few more dollars on this upgrade to gigabit port speeds!

Ne fonctionne pas. Avec une alim 12v 2A ou 12V 3A, lumiere verte, le reseau fonctionne mais pas d'alim POE sur mon périphérique.

Wish I had seen the 1st below review. 100% agree, there is no point selling a device which you need to separately buy a power supply for. Its not clear what supply I need to buy. Might as well send it back.
