I have tried everything for dry mouth due to medications. Please let me know if anyone has had a better experience than Biotene and others.

I've tried about everything....I have the same issue as you..due to medications. I recently tried Hydrogen Peroxide. I use it at full strength (swish it & let it sit) around my mouth/tougue for a few minutes then spit out. To my surprise it gave me a lot of relief. I saw on the box to put the tooth paste on a dry toothbrush.. Does it have to be dry? The tube doesn't say dry, it just says toothbrush.

Yes, that is what is printed on the box and it's recommended. It might seem odd, but it works well for me. The reason why you don't want to wet your toothbrush beforehand is because you don't want the tap water to interfere with the toothpaste and the way it works with your mouth and saliva. Once you try it you'll find that the toothpaste is 'wet' enough and won't dry out your mouth. I recommend trying the travel kit size by ordering it directly from the Therabreath website. I had to try the travel one first before I was convinced I should by a two-pack of the regular sized (4 oz) toothpaste.
