These are thin, plain but traditional, authentic Scottish oatcakes. They make an outstanding platform for both sweet and savory toppings. They have an oat-y nuttiness that comes through and makes them really satisfying. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. I will buy again! Those who love oatcakes, here is your chance to get them in the US.

Nice oat flavor and texture - not too sweet and not too dry. Best when paired with soft cheese or fruit jam.

I tried these on a whim, having never had them before. I wanted a snack cracker/cookie item that was healthier, not loaded with salt or sugar or bad fat. I think these are just that. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I think they are an acquired taste item, and I found them a bit bland. Texture-wise, they are a little crumbly, rather than crunchy, but I think they are designed to be that way. I will likely not buy them again, not because they are not good, wholesome and well made, but because I was looking for something with a more robust flavor. Glad I tried them.

So happy to be able to get these oatcakes in the US. They are the best!Will order again—and maybe there will be a bit of padding around them in the box next time?

Disappointing taste (actually, no taste) and texture.

Sadly, predictably, a little expensive when compared to Scotland but, as a fondly remembered treat, well worth it!Please don't refer to these as "Crackers", They don't "Crack", they crumble.These are perfect with butter and any good cheese, and for the more lightly flavoured cheeses, try a spot of Loganberry (or similar) jam.They arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, despite how 'crumbly' they are. I'll be getting more in for New Year and Burns Night!

You can see from the photos how the oatcakes were just tossed in instead of packed correctly. This combined with Amazon's decision to literally ship this little box in a bigger box with a scissor jack meant every single one is broken to bits. Now they are just delicious crumbs.
