Where your wings melt in high heat and humidity. The 55/45% cotton linen, are very comfortable and lightweight. Despite the lack of a fly, the pants are well made, fitting, and a great value. The material details look smart in person, and the cuff adds an "up market " touch. The elastic waist is double stitched, with a nice cord, and 4 painted wooden beads. There are 2 inward slanted pockets, and 1 behind. Slanted pockets always look nice. Especially on shorts, as you eliminate the look of ears around your waist. I would avoid going commando, especially in the whites, as I am able to detect enough of my hand to avoid an embarrassing situation. The waist size is true, and elastic is well made. I am glad to see the double stitching in the waist, as Chinese factories are a gamble with inexpensive products. I really like these shorts. In this case, the product in person exceeds the picture. I have a waist of approximately 33", and purchased medium. At 6'4, the cuffs rest just above knee. Very smart looking! UPDATE FOR MARCH '21! I have worn all the colors and styles and washed them in ONLY COLD WATER. I also NEVER DRY, as hanging works fine. A quick iron is all you need. Have not tried my steamer. The pants look and fit just great. With all the snow and ice storms around the country you probably know I live in Florida. Here we have the a/c on. Good grief! Looks like another year I made the mistake of pulling out the beautiful sweaters and coats I have yet to wear; and I purchased them in Europe 2 years ago for a big splurge. Well, they look so handsome on the hangers, through the garment bags. But the shorts are holding up very well. Great for around the house , shopping , or casual lunch. I also really like them for golfing! They move with you perfectly, and never pinch or restrict motion in anyway. I just wanted to check in as I really appreciate reviews that have follow ups after the products have been broken in. Most items appear fine when taken out of the box, but most reviewers don't come back to update after the tires have been kicked, and driven a few thousand miles. So, still a 5☆ product, with a cold wash and no dryer. The size, color, and fit are like new. Great choice!

Super comfortable and actually look pretty fancy for the beach. I love them on my husband and they’re thick. You can get into the water with these without them suctioning to your privates in the front. They have kept their color for years. I stole these from my husband while I was pregnant because they’re that comfy. I will be ordering more.

Love these. Super comfortable, and the material feels great. The fit is slightly slim so it has a good casual but clean look. Hits just above the knee.

My hubby loves these and has worn out the color on a couple. They are lightweight and breath. I purchased for trip to Jamaica yrs ago but continue to purchase because he wears these more than any other shorts he owns. Miss the smoky Grey color though.

I love these shorts! I have them in I think four different color combos. They fit great and I wear them all the time. Just slip them on to wear around the house or put on a polo and they can easily be dressed up. Great price, these babies have lasted me for years now.

I bought these shorts because I assumed that by paying almost $70 that I'd be getting good quality. When it arrived, many threads where loose, the pockets aren't properly sewn, feels like it could fall appart anytime. I found a similar product on this website for less than $20, they are exactly the same, without any of the defects this product came with.

The shorts feel cheap. I'm a 34 waist M. The M they have is around a 36-38. Glad it comes with a roped belt.
