I learned a lot from this book
Probably more information than I need, but I enjoyed looking at the photos. I learned a few things, such as the difference between a horse breed and coat color, i.e. Palomino is not a breed but rather a coat pattern that can be seen on more than one breed.

VERY small book
this book is nice but VERY small. at 4x6, it's the size of a standard photograph. It is thick (204) pages, but not what I expected. My daughter (she is 7) is obsessed with horses and loves it, I'm glad I was able to buy a used copy for a little over $3. here on Amazon.

Saw the horses at Chincoteage
These horses remind me of the ones we saw some years ago when we got up early one morning, checked out ofour room at Williamsburg and then drove to the shore. Those particular horses are amazing and one can see why they have such strong muscles.
