Does Not Include Chow Hound

DOES NOT INCLUDE 'CHOW HOUND.' I was slightly disappointed because I was led to believe it was included (my all-time favorite cartoon). That said, it is a great mix of all your favorite Bugs, Daffy, Sylvester, Tweety, Porky, Speedy, Foghorn, and even Coyote and Roadrunner. Here are the actual episodes:Disc One:1. Rabbit of Seville2. Duck Dodgers of The 24 1/2 Century3. One Froggy Evening (The Michigan Rag Frog)4. Scaredy Cat5. There They Go-Go-Go6. Rabbit's Kin7. Duck Amuck8. A Ham in a Role9. Speedy Gonzales10. Crockett-Doodle-Doo11. What's Opera, Doc?12. The Great Piggy Bank Robbery13. Feed the Kitty14. Gift Wrapped15. Goo Goo Goliath16. Show Biz Bugs17. Kitty Kornered18. Wild Over You19. The Hypo-Chondri-Cat20. Broom-Stick Bunny21. Knighty Knight Bugs22. Baby Bottleneck23. From A to Z-Z-Z-Z24. A Bear For Punishment25. Ducking the DevilDisc 2:1. Rabbit Hood (w/ Errol Flynn)2. The Scarlet Pumpernickel3. Birds Anonymous4. Often an Orphan5. Robin Hood Daffy6. Operation: Rabbit7. 8 Ball Bunny (w/ Humphry Bogart as American down on his luck)8. It's Hummer Time (Pre 'Early to Bet'...not the Happy Birthday!)9. Mouse Wreckers10. The Honey Mousers (Honey Mooners)11. A Corny Concerto12. A Pest in the House13. The Bashful Buzzard14. Trap Happy Porky15. Water, Water Every Hare16. Rabbit Fire17. Birth of a Notion18. Dough Ray Me-Ow19. I Love to Singa20. Three Little Bobs21. High Diving Hare22. The Wise Quacking Duck23. Rocket-Bye Baby24. The Dover Boys at Pimento University25. The Pied Piper of GuadalupeThree new computer animated Coyotes and Roadrunners are special features"1. Coyote Falls2. Fur of Flying3. Rabid RiderIt amazes me how many more people are required for a 5 minute short using computers than it took for a small handful of artists to hand draw fame by frame the same five minute cartoon.

Best cartoons of my childhood

These are the cartoons I would watch every Saturday when I was a kid ( many many moons ago). These cartoons were the best because they were made for the theater not tv so the quality was much better. I would have given these 5 stars but the dvd container was damaged .

Boomers' Trip Down Memory Lane

A great collection of classic cartoons from the days when they were funny! Remember Saturday morning while growing up? Re-live them here & share with your friends & family with fresh, buttered popcorn before a movie at home for a nostalgic evening!

Great for nephews

It seems that the fans and WB have been at war for a while, with the fan's demanding every single Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies cartoon remastered and released and WB, instead, releasing only a certain amount (usually featuring the more famous characters) and frequently re-releasing the same ones in multiple releases.I can understand both sides. As a fan, I wouldn't mind having every cartoon WB ever made (although there are a few rough black and white entries and late '60s cheapies that I'd probably only watch once). But when you look at it from the perspective of the company, what's really the impetus to invest the time and money on remastering over a thousand cartoons when a great deal of them (most not featuring the bunny, the pig, or the rest of the marketable characters) inspire little interest in most consumers?... that has nothing to do with this release, because this is something new, unique: a 'best-of' release for casual fans. A veritable Whitman's sampler. Personally, I wonder why a release like this hasn't existed for years. My nephews love these cartoons, and every time they come to visit I'm digging through my DVDs to show them various cartoons. Now, these kids aren't obsessive fans like me, and aren't likely to invest in dozens of DVDs and Blu-Rays, so last Christmas I got them this set. It doesn't contain all their favorites, but it does have a great many of them. They loved it!So this isn't a release for obsessives: it's one for nephews. It's a perfect gift for those with foggy memories of loving these cartoons or for those young folks who'll make up the next generation of fans.
