Kwikset 99110-007 SmartCode Electronic Lock with Tustin Lever Featuring SmartKey, Lifetime Polished Brass

Easy to install and works perfectly. Bought two: one to enter the garage and one going to the house. One was too close to the window in the door so I had to install it upside down which works perfectly. Right side up the keypad interfered with the window. Flipping it upside down it works fine and looks fine. installed both in about 1 hour total moving slowly and programming codes. I was able to rekey one of the locks to match the other one for the actual key. The re-keying took literally like 1 minute very easy. We've been using them for a few weeks and it works perfectly so far. One is programmed to automatically lock after 30 seconds and the other stays unlocked without automatically locking. It's quite easy to program it to work either way.

Good and reliable. Please consider: this lock has two numbers per button. This creates a dilemma for me because it then means that there are multiple combinations with the same exact button pattern. For example, if your code is 1234, then the same button patter is also: 1133, 1134, 1143, 1144, 1233, 1243, 1244, 2133, 2134, 2143, 2144, 2233, 2234, 2243, 2244. So that's a total of 16 button patterns that would open your lock. Even if you only used a code that requires 4 different buttons, say code 1357, then the number of key patterns would still be 16: 1358, 1367, 1368, 1457, 1458, 1467, 1468, 2357, 2358, 2367, 2368, 2457, 2458, 2467, 2468. This still means that 16 different codes would open your lock because they all match the same keystroke pattern of 1357. I'm sure Kwikset knows this but don't seem to be doing anything about it. That's why a switched to Schlage.

The Kwikset keyless lock is a great decision whichever model you select. They are easy to install, fit into the holes left by most previously installed lock sets, and hold multiple codes for your entire family. I had a side door that was a challenge to open with a standard door knob and decided to give this lock set/handle combo a try. The handle was a huge improvement and much easier to pull and latch.The locking mechanism appears to be all in the handle and engages the latch only after a code has been entered. When it is "locked" the handle will move but it doesn't engage the latch. The "Smart Key" feature is nice to have so you can keep a single emergency key for all of you compatible locks.I still have a deadbolt but this seems to be secure enough for when I am out of the house. There is no way to hook this up to your smart home but it is possible to have a few codes for guests and contractors that can be easily updated once they are through.I am fairly familiar with changing locks but this one took about 15 minutes total with minimal tools. Certainly possible for a DIY project. Just make sure to follow the instructions and save them so you can program your lock in the future.

I have Kwikset 910s in my house and they are linked to my 2GIG Security System that is with Alarm.com. I purchased this for my mother for her house and it was easy to install and she loves it! She likes not having to lock the door when she gets in her house because it automatically does that 30 seconds after it has been unlocked. The only drawback with this product is that sometimes when locking, it gets stuck or something and you have to hit the lock button twice. But other than that, it is great! We chose this model over an equivalent Schlage model because of the ease of rekeying in the event you have to use a key. I would also recommend the Schlage model because we have had those, but my mother has Kwikset Locks in her home, so being able to use one key for everything is great! I highly recommend this product!

It is a bit on the pricey side but as a non-dead bolt levered lock it works nicely to secure my bedroom door as well as the door leading from the garage to the house. Nice to not have to worry about having a key and to count on the door automatically being locked after it is closed for 30 seconds. The only knock I have is that when I had a master code programmed in I could NOT set any user codes. I had to set up user codes first and THEN set a master code so the directions and method supplied to set a user code while a master code is in play are incorrect or just don't work. Otherwise it would've received 5 stars.

I put this on the door from the garage to the house. In our house this is reasonably secure area so I didn't feel like drilling in a dead bolt. It is handsome and convenient. I was able to quickly re-key the lock to existing keys, and programming the codes is pretty simple. I set the 30-second auto lock and I really like this feature. Often I come through here with an armload and just kick the door shut. It's nice to know it automatically locks up after me in case I'm not out that way again for a bit. I also like not having to unlock it from the inside to open the door. Makes it easy for the wife to get out without having to unlock and relock the door in the morning. Smartly engineered product. Great for my needs and I recommend it.

Super easy to install. Watch out if you have a large window in your door, you may have to notch out the back cover. The autolock feature is really nice, you never have to worry about if you locked the door or not. The audible beep when pushing the keys is too loud for people coming in at night. The only option is on or off. I wished it came in brushed nickel so it matched better. I rekeyed my current house key to the lock which was super easy.. Warning: it takes 4 AAs that are not included. I had to go searching the remotes for batteries lol. Very sturdy and I'll probably end up buying another one for my front door.

Got these door locks for the office, and they work like a charm! Simple installation 5 minutes for someone who knows one end of a screw driver from the other. Can assign separate codes to people to give access to certain areas. No tracking information is available, but in a SOHO setting, it works. Smooth operation mechanism, with auto relocking function. Would be handy for home use, but I would not use as the only lock (GET A DEADBOLT for better home security, especially for exterior doors), unless you use on interior doors.

Después de buscar una buena cerradura para mi entrada principal elegí esta marca, ya que tiene muy buena calidad y excelentes materiales,el teclado se ilumina y es perfecto cuando llegas de noche, las manijas y todo la cerradura se siente muy bien al tacto, la ventaja de este modelo es que si te quedas sin baterías puedes usarla con una llave normal, la recomiendo para instalar en zonas donde tenga poco contacto con la humedad porque al parecer no es contra el agua y pudiera estropear la parte electrónica, ademas me encanta el sistema de smart key porque puedes usar varias cerraduras con una sola llave, la recomiendo si claro que si, espero comprar mas cuando vuelvan a bajar de precio, otro plus es que me llego un dia antes del dia de entrega

La perilla funciona muy bien, lo único que fue dificil fue colocar el émbolo en una posición que dejara entrar completamente la pieza central. Al principio marcaba error al abrir (como que se quedaba tratando de empujar aunque ya había abierto) pero con el timepo lo dejó de hacer
