Going abroad with an electric wheelchair is pretty stressful. Needed to make sure I could charge it in the U.S. travelling from the U.K.. previously had issues so it’s quite important to make sure the charger is worldwide compatible.For the price, this is outstanding value.Bought to charge a Invacare Sectra XTR2. Electric wheelchair. It performed admirably. Very compact and VERY light. It doesn't feel particularly robust, but so far it’s been fine. Had it over a month now. Tested it at length to make sure it worked properly prior to travelling. It worked very well during holiday.Auto stops when the batteries are full. This can be a bit disconcerting as sometimes it clicks on and off as it reaches the let few seconds of a full charge.Downsides.The cooling fan is pretty loud when the chair is in a room with you. It didn’t actually bother us too much, but might annoy some. From flat to full charge does take several hours, but that’s the case with any charger. We would get back to the hotel room almost on empty and charge through the night. I noticed that maybe after about 6 hours it had switched off. Because it was so small we could easily carry it with us in case we needed a boost. But that was just for reassurance.The cable is pretty short. Again, didn’t affect us, but might want to carry an extension cable.Again, taking into consideration the price, I felt these were very minor issues.Remember you will still need to buy a travel adapter for the country you are travelling to.Due to the fact it can work with many voltages and currents I’m hoping it will run of a vehicle inverter when we get our next car. Again it can be easily stored over a wheelchair specific charger which costs maybe 5 or 6 times as much.Would buy again.

Purchased this as a replacement for a standard charger of identical rating.It did not automatically switch off as the specification said it would.It damage the batteries and melted one of them, which has left me with a bill for new batteries costing £220. Not worth the risk and dangerous !! . fortunately my scooter is stored under a car port and not in doors or it could have burnt the house down.

its a very cheap stop gap a good back up by the sound of it and feel it aint going to last very long but it gives us a chance to save up for the ridicule's prices the actual chargers are !!

Received the mobility scooter battery charger today it works perfectly and good value for the price I paid for it if I need anymore I will order more from you again many thanks Mr Ian Ellis 5 *service always and keep safe and well thanks again
