Great Supplement to a College Course
While this book isn't as in depth as a textbook, it's been very useful to help reinforce the basics as I work through a college-level Managerial Economics course. Highly recommended if you need some additional explanation of the basics, or need a review.

Worth a reading as a refresher in case you know the principals of Economics
I got this book with little hope of getting suitable material as the "Dummies" series is a hit or miss in most of their books but this one is a hit.If you have studied economics in the university, this book will act as a good refresher with some new updates or topics, especially the likes of monopoly, oligopoly and risk analysis.Worthy of buying and good as an easy refresher, but keep it in your lower drawers at work.

Nice try, but not helpful
Bottom line up front - if you don't have a solid math and quantitative business background economics isn't for you. This book offers nothing different than astandard quantitative economics textbook. There are just no shortcuts: you either have the math background or you do not. Also, you had better have a high-level skill set with Microsoft spreadsheets or you'll be left behind. I reiterate - no shortcuts.
