My wife has been taking these Grow Bone supplements for 6 years since she was diagnosed with osteoporosis after a bone density exam in 2019. Since then, she has had updated Dexa bone density scans every two years with the most recent being today. In each instance her bone density showed marked improvement from the preceding test. Like many other reviewers, my wife’s bone density results since starting the Grow Bone System are nothing short of amazing! Despite now being in her 60’s, her bone density results are better than they were 8 years ago! She now has better bone density results than her age group (Z Score) but also has gone from osteoporosis to normal bone density in most areas and just slight osteopenia in the others. My spine and other hip areas are well into the normal bone density range with my total overall scores now showing NORMAL BONE DENSITY!!! I've been using bone grow for almost two years, just after I found out I had osteoperosis. Last week I had my first dexa scan since I began the product and my report shows my bone density has "substantially increased". I still have a ways to go, but I will continue using the product and hopefully avoid ever having to get injections.

Capsules had to be opened and put into my drink as i have difficulty swallowing medium size pills. They are not a great value. I have resorted to tums for my calcium.

After taking lots of steroids due to a medical issue I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I broke my leg and had to stay in rehab for 3 months. A lady that was visiting someone recommended this vitamin. I couldn’t take drugs like foxomax due to eye issues. I decided to try this and just had a bone density test. Three years ago, my husband was given a dexa-scan to check his bone density. He was tested in two places (which is the standard procedure here)--the hip, and L1,L2, and L3 in the spine. The hip showed mild osteopenia but the spine showed severe deterioration--L2 was -3.0 T score (extremely bad), with -2.4 T score combining the three tested vertebrae. The doctor said there's no point in testing more frequently than every three years, so this week my husband returned for testing. During those three years, he has been faithfully taking Vitamin Code Grow Bone System. He has shown tremendous improvement. There was 6.5% improvement in the hip, but the spine T score went from -2.4 to -0.7. We are over the moon. This is much better than we ever hoped for. The woman who did the dexa-scan wanted to know what he was doing as she is 60, osteoporosis runs in her family, she broke a leg last year, and she wants to start doing it herself! So he told her he has been using the Grow Bone System. You can take strontium by itself and it's a lot cheaper and possibly just as effective as this product. The research studies I located tested strontium by itself and consistently found that it helps build bone. The study that impressed me most was the Mayo Clinic study, if you want to check it out. We will probably stay with Grow Bone system since it's been working. The expense is the bad thing about this product. We could get Fosomax for $10 copay a month. However, it's hard to put a price on the value of a strong back, and the potential side effects of Fosomax, including potential bone problems, are pretty scary (check it out--it's on their website). Strontium is an element which occurs in nature: it's on the periodic table of elements! And if expense is an issue, you can just use strontium by itself.

When it arrived, it appeared as if it had been returned because the box was ragged, falling apart and dirty. But the bottles inside were intact. When I took the pills that you take at nighttime I woke up with an excruciating migraine! I am still suffering with it…many hours later. There is something in it that doesn’t agree with me. I should have read the reviews on this before purchasing. Especially since this cost me over $44.00 and since it is opened, I probably can’t return it. What a waste! There is nothing that I did or ate yesterday that would have caused this migraine. It is difficult to read what all the ingredients are on the bottle online. I am disappointed with Garden of Life. Since money is tight, especially being a senior on a fixed income…this is really pathetic and will have to throw it out. Something is wrong with the ingredients. Do better Garden of Life!
