The media could not be loaded.  I love this thing. I can turn the light on via my mirror. It holds its memory when the power shuts off. I have it hooked up to the parking lights & comes on when the auto lights kicks in. ***The only weak link is the D-ring that holds the carabiner. Luckily I have a box full in hand.

When I first installed, I noticed that the blue hues were a little different between the 2 whips. Not a big deal I thought. Went out on the first night ride, and 2 hours in, they quit working. Discovered the fuse I had installed had blown. Put a new one in, it blew right away. Got home and pulled the whole wiring assembly out and bench tested. Discovered that the solder connections at the y union in the harness were touching. The connections had just been covered in silicone, with nothing to prevent the connections from touching. Moral of the story, spend a little extra and buy a quality whip light.

I installed this on my Jeep which I use in the desert for light duty off roading. (about 4 trips a year). I really like the features and quick disconnect. Truth is, I remove the whip during the day and use it only at night. That said we go on very few night rides when camping. I probably used this whip a total of 6-8 hours since I bought it in Dec. 2019. The lights and ease of install are great but one night I hit a bump and the thing snapped in half about 6 inches up from the mount. Pretty pricey whip for it being so fragile. It actually feels pretty sturdy. Maybe I just got a bad one. I'm not sure if they warranty their product like other manufacturers but it would be nice.

Unfortunately our mechanic we no longer use lost the wiring harness to the whip so Off Road Town when contacted about buying a new wiring harness told us they don’t sell just the wiring harness so they’re going to send us a complete whip at no extra charge. We highly recommend Off Road Town to anyone looking for the right company!! Thanx Off Road Town!! you rock!!

The light whip was delivered on time. Did not have time to install on my RZR until Labor Day weekend. The whip works but an internal connection gets very hot. So hot I’m sure it will burn the whip if I don’t take it apart and repair it myself. Unfortunately I just missed the return date by one day. So I’m stuck with it.

I’m not sure what’s going on here but I’ve had this whip for 2 months, ran it on 1 trip. It worked great. Went on my next trip, plugged it in and this dull red light is all I got. I thought maybe connection? Nope, checked everything hooked straight to the battery, same dull lights. Hooked to a jump box (external power I know works) same dull red lights. Not sure if there’s a manufacturer warranty but this is certainly not worth $75 (after tax). If I can get it replaced with one that actually works more than 6 hours I would gladly change my review. Until then I’d have to say it’s not worth it.

Works well on our X3. My son loves all the different colors and variations. They are stiff but we wanted that, we didn’t want the ones that whipped all around. Worth the money.
