It may not be flashy but it does the job and came exactly as advertised, 32 meters of type K thermocouple wire.Non-standard colors, but red and black are still easy to follow. Above room temp red is positive, black is negative. When cold, red will read negative.Accurate measurements within a couple degrees for everything I have used it for. Used it in a kiln without any issue.Stainless braided shielding is good, and the fiberglass wire insulation can take the high temps. K type wire insulation standard colors are red and yellow. this wire is red and black. not clear which is positive and which is negative.

Some of the reviews are very unfair. i.e complaining about the outer shield braid being prickly. That's the way braid is folks! It's not a defect in the product. Read the description and if "Thermocouple Wire Cable" is what you're in the market for, this is great stuff.Note; there is no outer insulation jacket, just the braided shield as shown in the pictures. Maybe that's what you want, maybe not, but don't buy it and complain if it isn't.
