Wild Animals: A Touch and Feel Book - Children's Board Book - Educational

My baby loves this book! It is super cute and the touch and feel aspect is great for her to interact with each page. It isn’t very long and I’m always expecting more pages when we get to the end but it’s a nice quick book for any age! We’ve been reading this to our baby for several months, she is 7 months now, and I’m sure we will continue to read it to her for several years to come.

A bit of serendipity, or a God Incident? I had just bought three of these Touch and Feel books for Avi's Home Library--and then his father brings home a live chameleon which is another name for this particular lizard... Now on to the inside of this children's book!I am a wild lizard.I live up in this tree.My skin is rough and scaly,but not my personality.On this first page... there is a circle right on the lizard? It is a small patch of material that emulates, or matches, the type of skin of the lizard (and other animals). When touching, it feels like an uneven, but smooth surface and a definite pattern! Of course, this is to teach your child about the type of skin that each of the animals has.But like all wild animals, meaning that they are not those that have learned that we humans will not harm them, don't ever get too close. Even if they have made friends with one or two people who take care of them, they are still considered wild. By the way, the dolphin's skin, another featured in the book, feels smooth...maybe just like your daddy's car plus the wheel used to drive it.I have to admit that I've had fun just putting this review together, so I'm excited to give the book to Avi since he's old enough and the book is just the right size. Plus it's well made and will take the wear and tear from this energetic child...with parental guidance, as you can see is recommended...By the way, I also added a tablet-like book to allow Avi to get the idea of holding books...and it can be written on! Also, a learning book for words... Both are basic early books I'd recommend to, like I said, get your child holding books early in life... Second touch and feel book from this author! My baby loves them!

My grandson loves this book. He enjoys touching the animals as we read about them. It is durable and has stood up to a destructive toddler. A fun addition to any child’s library!

My 7 mo loves this book! Very colorful and informative. I feel like some of the textures could be more accurate but as a book for babies it's great.

This keeps our little 11 month old friend entertained. He loves the sensory sections of each page.

This book is very well put together and the interactive touching pages are outstanding. The book was clean. I felt safe giving it to the baby and the baby definitely has interacted with the pages as we turn them and feel the different textures, also the corners of pages are not sharp. Thank you for that.
