Authentic Models, Victorian Dome Watch, Brass Replica Pocket Watch, Honey Distressed French Finish

I bought it so I could display a family heirloom pocket watch. I love the display case BUT it took three times until I receieved one without a broken globe. Amazon was exceptional in their return process.

The display worked very well. The holder fit my antique hand held barameter exactly. I would have given it 5 stars if the decorative black trim on the base had been applied with a bit more care. The glass globe is optically a bit wavey, but I think it adds to the overall effect of the display of an antique. All positive comments from my family and friends who have seen it. Would recommend to a friend.

When I received the watch, the dome was broken. That was not my only disappointment. The dome was made of thin glass, which looked as if there would be only a small chance of it surviving shipment. The watch looked cheap as well. I sent it back and chose not to order another one.

Nice display piece, when in one piece. The package "tinkled" when I picked it up - not a good sign. Opening it revealed many shards of razor-sharp glass, a nice base, and a pretty good-looking replica of a period watch (although quartz, not mechanical). No glass dome <frown>. Returned the pieces, and will PROBABLY order another. Maybe.

Extremely small

The product came quickly and was as described, not damage at all. I put my great grandfather's Union Pacific pocket watch in place of the watch it came with and it looks great!

The Victorian dome watch stand is indeed as beautiful as pictured. Unfortunately the recess is too small for my antique Waltham. I shall display it regardless as I have jury-rigged it to be acceptable. Bottom line - glad I have it.

Very happy with the style, look and feel of the dome. Did not want a watch included.

On replacing the battery and applying mild pressure while unscrewing, the clock face pulled away from the back of the watch. I then realised that the clockface is nothing more than a flimsy piece of cardboard glued to the back of a metal case.
