I always prewash my fabrics in the machine before I use them to check. These washed just fine. Some shrinkage. But that's why I preshrink, especially cotton. Good luck.

Q: What kind of fabric? It makes me skeptical that it is not listed.

I bought this bundle because I was looking for the red and black checks but I also fell in love with the black and white. I make masks with mine and they have come out beautifully - in my humble opinion. I will need to double check because I fo not remember receiving the pinkish/mauve striped fabrics. I believe the material may be a cotton blend cannot be sure. Did not notice until you wrote that the vendor did not specify the type of material. I know it is definitely NOT a rayon or polyester by themselves. Not itchy and does not scratch. It is just right...I was thinking to order more!

Q: Is the pattern printed on both sides?

Yes although you can still tell inside from outside if that makes sense.

Q: Is this fabric 100% cotton?

Not sure. I think it might be a cotton blend
