Not the best product for high nitrates
Thought we would give this a try as we were found to have high nitrate levels (over 10) after an independent water test from our well. We had a whole house filtration system already installed so we just simply exchanged one of our filters for this one. The first month was good as it reduced our nitrate levels to "within normal limits" but it didn't last much longer than that. On the first day of month 2, the levels were again found to be out of the safe drinking water limits.
